Silence Is a Scary Sound

"Well..." Emma started.

"We were going to go back to Em's house for lunch." Celine said.

"But you could join us." Emma finished.

"Brilliant!" Harry grinned. Aw man. He really liked her.

"Well, lets get going' then." Celine said.

God. She was really pretty. Why do I always have to freeze up around girls I like??

We arrived at Emma house. The whole car ride you hardly talked to Celine. She probably thought you didn't like her or something.

I don't know if Dougie likes me or not. He hardly talked to me the whole ride. And when he did, he blushed the whole time.

"Ok, Harry, do you think you could help me?" Emma asked him pointedly.

"Uh, yeah, sure." Harry grinned and followed her.

"So, whatcha gonna make?" I asked.

"Well, it's this tai dish. It has cabbage, potato, bok choy, and turnip in it," she said as she pulled stuff out of the fridge.

"Turnip?"

"Yes, and it's good," she handed me a head of cabbage.

"What do I do with this?" I asked looking at it.

"Harry, grate," she simply said, and handed me a greater.

"So, what's up with Dougie?" She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"He didn't talk hardly at all to Celine the whole ride."

"Well, he's a bit shy. But he'll loosen up soon. There done." I said grinning at her.

"Good. Now you can grate these ," she smiled and handed me 4 potato's.

We finished lunch, the whole time laughing and smiling. We ate the Tai food which were deep fried, bread, and salad.

"That was really good Emma," Dougie said to me.

"Thanks Dougie." I smiled.

"Uh... Celine, can I talk to you for a second? In private." Dougie asked turning to her.

"Sure."

Harry and I looked at each other and smiled.

"I just wanted to talk to you about..." He said.
