Wait to Save Me, I'll Save You Too

Three.

Sunday, May 31st.

"I'm going to be sick." Michelle, my little sister said.
She had on a strapless white, long wedding gown and a white veil to go with it. Her long blond hair was curled, and she had a light cover of make-up on.
She hopped off a stool that was infront of a mirror and looked at me and my mom.
"Is this too soon? Am I doing the right thing? Oh my god. What if he's freaking out too?" she panicked.
"You're just nervous, Michelle." I walked to her and fixed her veil.
"Yeah, honey. And I'm sure if he's freaking out it's because he's just as nervous." our mother padded her back.
Michelle jumped.
"Gosh, calm down." i laughed. "It's not going to be scary or anything."
"How would you even know? You're not married, now are you?" Michelle snapped.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. "Just hurry up and finish getting ready. You can't take all day."

I walked over to a mirror to see how I looked before the wedding started.
I pushed my bangs out of my eyes, and fixed my dark auburn curls with my fingers.
I looked at my made of honor dress, and straightened it out with my hands.
It was a light creamy purple color. I hated the way it looked on me. It was too silky. Ughh.

It was time for the wedding to start, and my two other sisters and I lined up infront of Michelle.
"This is it you guys, your last time talking to me before i'm a married woman." she joked.
"Okay, chop chop everyone!" our mother called. "Your father is waiting to walk Michelle down the asle."
I was in the lead for walking down the asle.
It was beautiful outside.
There were tons of roses and daisy's surrounded everywhere.
And the sun was shining down right where Jonathan and Michelle would be married, it gave me the shivers.

Jonathan and his best men were lined up.
Jonathan's older brother was behind him, followed by Caleb, then Kyle.
I stood in my place at the alter. Behind me were my two sisters, and then all of a sudden, I became nervous.
I became nervous for my little sister. And I could only imagine how nervous she was.
I mean, why would she be scared to be married? I know it's really nervrecking and everything. I know her and Jonathan love eachother. She shouldnt be scared.

About two minutes of just standing there, Michelle and our father started walking down the asle.
All eyes were on her now, I mean, I don't blame everyone for starring, she looked gorgeous.
I smiled and took a deep breath, trying not to get tears in my eyes. And I looked over at Jonathan. You could tell he was trying to hold back tears, also. Happy tears.

When Michelle reached the alter, my dad kissed her on the cheek, then shaked Jonathans hand.
Her and Jonathan faced the minister, waiting to be married.

The minister started, "We are here today, to choin these two to be married."
He went on. "Jonathan, repeat after me."
Jonathan repeated, and faced Michelle.
“I, Jonathan Cook take you Michelle Katherine, to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever. I will trust you and honor you I will laugh with you and cry with you. I will love you faithfully Through the best and the worst, Through the difficult and the easy. What may come I will always be there. As I have given you my hand to hold So I give you my life to keep.”

The minister began again.
"Michelle, repeat after me."
Michelle repeated.
“I, Michelle Katherine, take you Jonathan Cook, to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love.

Austin came forward and handed the rings to the minister, who turned and gave the smaller one to Jonathan, “Jonathan, in placing this ring on Michelle's finger, repeat after me: Michelle, this ring I give you, my personal gift and my personal promise, of love and trust, and pride that you are my wife. We will wear these rings, and the world will know that I am yours and you are mine.”

Jonathan repeated the phrase and placed the ring on Michelle's finger, looking as if he was going to cry.

The minister started once again, "Now, Michelle, " he handed the bigger ring to her, "In placing this ring on Jonathans finger, repeat after me: Jonathan, this ring I give you, my personal gift and my personal promise, of love and trust, and pride that you are my husband. We will wear these rings, and the world will know that I am yours and you are mine.”

Michelle repeated, and place the ring on Jonathans finger.

"Congratulations,” the minister said and turned back to Jonathan, “You may now kiss the bride.”

When the kiss was over the minister spoke again as Jonathan and Michelle turned to face the crowd, “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Cook.”

I whiped little tears from my eyes, and watch how you could see our mother, and Jonathans mother, bursting in tears of joy.

(The Reception)

I sat at a table with Kennedy and Ryan.
"Are you okay?" Kennedy asked me.
I took my hand off my forehead and looked at her.
"What? I'm sorry, I just don't feel so good." I got up quickly and found a near by trashcan, and puked.
"Oh my gosh!" Kennedy ran over to me. "Are you drunk!" she held my hair back.
I looked up at her, still leaning over the trashcan. "Am I drunk? Kennedy, no. I haven't even drunk anything but water." I puked more.

"Caleb!" Kennedy yelled. "Caleb!"
He was too busy acting crazy with his band mates, until Kennedy got his attention, and he ran over to us.
"What happend? Caleb lifted me up.
"I puked." I said. "And I don't feel so good. I feel weak."
"Did you have drink?" he asked, pushing my hair out of my face."
"Noo! I didn't drink anything but water."
"Okay. Do you want to leave?"
"No, go have fun. I think i'll be okay."
"No no no. Were going home. I dont want you to get worse, okay?" he bent his head down and looked into my eyes.
"Okay."
"I'll go get your purse." Kennedy walked off.
"Baby, I'm gonna go tell everyone bye, I'll be right back. Two minutes."

Michelle headed my way.
"Are you okay?"
"No. I think I have the flu or something. I've been feeling like this for the last week. Me and Caleb are going to head out if thats okay."
"Yeah, that's fine. I hope you feel better." she gave me a hug.
"Well, I hope you have fun on your honey moon. I wish I was going to the bahamas."
Michelle laughed. "Yeah I can't wait."
"Tell Jonathan I said bye, okay?"
"I sure will, I'll call you!" Michelle walked off to her new husband and danced.
"Here's your purse." Kennedy handed it to me. "Call me tomorrow if you feel better."
"I will." I forced a smile.

Caleb headed my way again.
"You ready?" he grabbed my hand.
"Mhm."

We walked over to our car, and had trouble finding it since it was dark outside.
We finally found it, and drove home.

"I'm going to go lay on the couch or something." I said walking into the living room.
"Are you sure you don't want me to get you anything? Not even any flu medicine?"
"Caleb I don't even know if I have the flu. I don't even feel sick to my stomach anymore."
"Well, you never know." he jumped on the couch next to me and pulled a cover over us.
"What are you going to watch?" I asked him as he flipped through the channels on the t.v.
"You pick." he handed me the remote, and rested his head on my lap.
