Tom Kaulitz...Would You Like To Dance?

Dancing Digits

I sat on the gymnasium floor in my sweats and tank top, waiting for the dance instructor to show up. There were about 20 other people in the room, and we were all talking amongst ourselves. Some louder than others, but I was more reserved than those stick figure girls who got what they wanted when they wanted it.

No, me... I didn't think I was a very good dancer, but the instructor said I had potential. Today we would be going over some of our better rehearsed routines, for our guest viewers. We weren't told who they were going to be, only that there would be four of them.

As the instructor walked in, he motioned for us to stand and get into place. He asked us all, rather quietly, to do our best so not to embarrass him in front of the four heavily dressed males sitting in front of us on the risers.

I wasn't sure why they had on so many layers; it was a very comfortable temperature inside. But then I just as soon guessed they wanted to hide there identity. They must be some famous choreographers and want to keep us relaxed. That made enough since.

We all got into position as the music started. We did sort of a mix between ballet and hip-hop dancing, similar to what you would see in the movies 'Save The Last Dance' and 'Step Up' and the music was full of amazing beats and violins! It was perfect, especially to get you in the right mood.

I heard one of the boys on the risers laugh and immediately recognized it to be the laugh of Tom Kaulitz! I shot my eyes in his direction and he had noticed I'd heard him. As I stared in shock, realizing the four boys to be Tokio Hotel, Tom seemed to be smiling down at me.

No he's not smiling at me...he couldn't be! Why would he be? Look at me... Oh no, don't look at me! I look awful without make-up!

I couldn't seem to convince myself that he might actually smile at the likes of me! I mean seriously, I'm a nobody!

We had started dancing and I immediately turned my focus from Tom to the music. Dancing seemed to be of second nature to me so I had no difficulty hitting every Pirouette without fault and any other move was almost effortless. I felt as if I was floating across the floor, and I was in a world all my own for those five minutes.

The song ended and I thoughtlessly turned my head back to the boys for their reaction. They were all grins as they stood from their seats and joined us on the 'dance floor'. They all began to take off their disguises and revealed themselves to us. I was right, I knew I had been!

Several gasps were heard around the room, and the stick figured girls jumped from their places immediately to where the boys stood. Each girls expressing the cheesiest grin possible, hoping they would actually be given a shot with one of the boys! As if that would ever happen!

They told us that we did and excellent job and would love to see more, but unfortunately had somewhere to be. The boys smiled as the room awed, and I turned to start walking toward the changing rooms. Until something, or someone stopped me.

"Excuse me, miss?"

I turned to see Tom standing before me, smiling down with that perfect smile of his. I stared into his perfect eyes and forced myself to answer him.

"Yes?'

"Hi, I'm Tom." He held out his hand for me to shake.

"Louise." I replied as he took my hand in his.

"I just wanted to say before I left that you're an amazing dancer. I couldn't watch anyone but you!"

"Thank you!" I felt myself blush as I looked down at my feet. I heard Bill call for Tom saying they had to leave, and then looked back up at him.

"Listen, I don't do this often but...."

He trailed off, and smiled as he reached into his pocket pulling out a cell phone. He looked into my eyes, handing me his phone.

"Can I call you?!"
