Bound to You Sirius Black

Early morning.

"Rose? Rose?" Tonks calls in a low tone, Shaking her gently to wake her.
Her eyes open quickly, Looking around the room. Tonks sits on the edge of the table and Remus stands behind her. They both wore cuts and bruises on their arms and face and they looked more tired than Rose had ever seen them. "How is.." Rose began to ask but Remus answered before she could finish. "Harry and the other's are fine.. Their at Hogwarts."
Rose felt a slight relief slip over her, But was too disoriented for a moment to realize.
She scans the room over again, Looking for her husband.

"Where's Sirius?" Rose asks, Looking from Remus to Tonks who both stayed silent. "Miss Walsh, Please join me in the kitchen." Dumbledore says, Standing in the doorway of the sitting room. "Yes professor." Rose says, Slightly confused, All she wanted to know was where Sirius was. "He's probably at Hogwarts with Harry and the others." Rose thought, Following Dumbledore into the kitchen. She sat at the table and watched as Dumbledore poured a glass of water, Setting it in front of her. He sits across from her. "Professor.. Where's Sirius?" Rose asks. "While you were sleeping some time ago, I managed to speak with Kreacher, Persuading him to tell me everything he had been hiding.." He begins to tell Rose what Kreacher had told him. But still had yet to answer the question that now tormented her.

"Professor Please! Tell me where Sirius is?!" Rose says in desperation now, Her stomach beginning to feel sick again.
Dumbledore closes his eyes for a moment in thought, And when they Re-open, Rose sees in them, The truth. "No.." Rose whispers, Her eyes quickly welting with tears. "I'm sorry Miss Walsh." Dumbledore says.
Rose falls from the chair onto the floor, Crying aloud as she slams her hands onto the floor in pure anger and agony. Dumbledore leans down beside her, Placing his hand on her back. "No!" Rose screams. It was an awful nightmare.. And all she wanted to do was wake up with Sirius laying beside her. "Wake up! Please wake up! This is a dream! It's all a dream!" She cries. Remus and Tonks both run into the room, They help her to her feet. "Please tell me it's just a dream Tonks! Please tell me it's a dream!" Rose begs. Tonks hugs her. Rose holds tight to her cousin, Sobbing loudly. "I'm so sorry Rose!" Tonks says, Beginning to tear up herself at the sight of Rose.

Some time had passed and rose was had managed to gain some slight composure.. But it was only temporary. "I want to see Harry." She says. "You may accompany me back to Hogwarts, Perhaps it would be better if i could explain things to both you and Harry together." Dumbledore says. "Will you come with me?" Rose asks Tonks. "Of course." Tonks says.

As they apparate to the gates of Hogwarts, They head up to Dumbledore's office.
Rose almost collapses again in tears but tonks grabs her upper arm and braces her. "Come on now, Let's get you inside." Tonks says softly.

When they finally reach the Headmaster's office.
"I'll be right out here if you need me." Tonks says to Rose as the doors to the office open. Rose nods her head, Walking in first, Followed by Dumbledore.
She sees Harry sitting in one of the chairs. She rushes to him, Grabbing him in a hug. "I'm so sorry i couldn't save him! I'm sorry!" She weeps. "It's not your fault Rose." Harry says, Pulling back from her with tears in his eyes.

"Please.. When you are both ready, Take a seat so i may explain a few matters that need explaining." Dumbledore says calmly.

As they sit, Listening to everything that happened, Rose can barely contain herself, Between the fury she felt that the very thing responsible for all this chaos.. A foolish house-elf, And the merciless feeling of loneliness she felt now that the man who had been by her side all this time was gone. It was as if she had been cut in half.
She stays silent as Harry screams at Dumbledore, She knew he needed this, That like her, The sadness was eating out his insides like a disease.

When they left Dumbledore's office, Tonks was still standing outside the door. "I'll meet you at the gates Tonks." Rose says. Tonks agrees, Leaving Harry and Rose alone.
"I promised you nothing would happen to him." Rose says, Unable to look Harry in the eyes. "You couldn't do anything, Sirius was locked in that house all this time, He wanted out, He wanted to be free.. With you." Harry whispers. "If you ever need anything, Please let me know, I want to be there for you Harry, Like your godfather was." It stung slightly to refer to Sirius in a past-tense.
She hugged him again. "Perhaps when school is done, You can come stay with me, If you'd like?" Rose asks sweetly. "Yeah, I'd like that." Harry says, Wiping his eyes on his sleeve.

She walks out the school doors. It was chilly outside, But she didn't care, She would always be cold now, Nothing would change that.
She sees Tonks up ahead. "Where do you want to go?" Tonks asks. "Walk with me to Hogsmeade?" Rose asks. "Sure." Tonks replies.
