Though the shop was closed that day, Rose decided to go there anyways, Just to spend some time away from everyone, It was therapeutic for her, No family to call her and gossip, No friends to try to set her up with every man in the immediate area. It was just her, In her own little world.
She goes in through the back door as always which leads into the stock room, But she still could never escape his face or the times they shared together, Even this store had memories. "This was where we first met." She thought. "And there.." She looks down at the floor of the stock room and a smile plays across her face.
When she was finished, She goes home and plays through her usual rituals before finally going to bed. It had taken her four months before she could even sleep in her own bed again, But she admitted, The mattress was far more comfortable than the couch.

The next morning.
She was awoken by the sound of knocking on her door. "Great..Now what?!" She moans, getting up and answering the door. "Hello Sweetheart!" Her mother says, Grabbing her in a hug that almost squeezed her to death. "Hi mum, What's going on? What are you doing here?" Rose asked, Slightly taken aback. "I was just doing some shopping in the area and thought I'd stop in and take you out for breakfast." Her mother replies. "Oh, Okay, Just let me get dressed." Rose says, Walking sluggishly to her room to change out of her comfy pajamas.

"So how's the shop doing love?" Her mum asks. "It's doing good, Business has been good." Rose replies, Slipping her hands in her pockets. The air was getting cooler and cooler each day, Mother natures warning that winter was coming.
"It's been awhile since I've seen you or spoke to you." Her mum says. "Yeah, Last i heard from you, You were on holiday in Florida with dad." "Yes, It was lovely there, So bright and sunny all the time, Hardly any rain, But you do start to miss home." Her mum says. "So, Do you have a special man in your life Missy?" She asks her daughter with a grin. "Uh, No i haven't really been looking." Rose replies. "Well, You better! Remember I want Grandchildren!" Her mother laughs and rose chokes. "So how are you and dad doing?" Rose asks, Trying to change the subject quickly before it went any further.
"Well, I actually came here to tell you rose, Your father and i split up." Her mother says, Her tone not as bubbly as before. Rose stopped in her tracks and looks at her mother with her mouth open in shock. "You did What?!" She says. "It just wasn't working out with us darling, So we found it best to go our separate ways." Her mother says. "You two have been together for 25 years! and Now you decided your not working out?!" Rose says, Her voice growing higher. "Well, We're both happy with the decision we made, He's living back in Florida with his fiancee and I'm living in London with my boyfriend Steve." "Dad's getting Re-married?! And your seeing another man?!" Rose shouts. "I need to sit down a moment." she says, Sitting on a bench outside a book shop. Her mother sits beside her. "Sweetheart, It just happens sometimes, People just realize their not right for each other, It just took your father and i a little longer to realize that. Now i really like Steve, He's kind, Handsome, Has a good job at the daily prophet." Her mother says. Rose takes a deep breath, Calming herself. "I'm sorry mum, It's just a lot to take in all at once, It doesn't seem like it's been that long since i last spoke to you guys, And you were doing great! And now.. Well, I'm glad your both happy, When can i meet Steve?" Rose asks, Her voice normal now. "Actually that's why i wanted to take you to breakfast, He's waiting for us now, I just thought i should come alone to get you so i could explain what was going on." Her mother smiles. "Oh, Alright." Rose says, Trying to keep calm, Though her head was spinning.
