Chapter 124 The night goes on
Checking her watch Kate saw that it was just after 11pm, feeling a little tipsy she decided to pace herself. Kaitlen and Alicia had moved on to shots of tequila and were now dancing to the stereo that had the smashing pumpkins blaring out of it.
Krista and Kate were talking where Krista tried to get Lyn-z involved in the conversation as she looked so quiet.
"So Lyn-z what do you do?" Krista asked
"I'm a guitarist for a band called MSI"
What Lyn-z wasn't aware of was that Kate and Gerard had been a couple for over a year, Gerard felt hat he didn't need to tell her at this point in time.
Kate spoke up "So Lyn-z how long have you and Gerard been together?"
"Um...nearly a month and I already know he's the one" Lyn-z gushed as she smiled over at Gerard who returned the smile and blew her a kiss which Kate saw, Gerard could see and quickly turned around.
Kate didn't like the words that had come out of Lyn-z's mouth, she had nothing against Lyn-z if anything it was Gerard who was flaunting his new love. The girls continued to talk which started on about Kate and Frank's baby Sadie. Alicia gushed that she had seen Sadie at Donna's and was describing to Lyn-z how adorable she was and how much she loved her little niece. All the guys saw Sadie as there niece besides Gerard who saw her as her old Daddy.
The party continued where now Kate was actually having a good time especially with the girls and mucking around with the boys, Walking up to get another drink Kate walked in to the kitchen where she saw Gerard pouring himself a glass of Coke, walking past him she said nothing Gerard couldn't help but say something.
"So now your not gonna talk to me?" he asked, Kate looked around and glared
"What do you want?"
"I thought we could at least be civil with each other"
"I have been Gerard...you’re the one who seems to think otherwise"
"Whatever Kate I know what I can see and you all lovey-dovey with Frank that's a load of BS"
"Don't comment on me and Frank...What about you flaunting a new girl" Kate hissed back getting angry towards Gerard.
Gerard grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into a spare room and closed the door. "Gerard what the hell are you doing" Kate yelled Pushing her against the door he held her firmly with his body, pushing himself as close as possible where he looked her in the eyes
"Get off me now" Kate whispered
Everyone else hadn't noticed that Gerard and Kate were gone beside Lyn-z who was wondering where Gerard had disappeared too.
"Gerard get off me" Kate said as she tried to wiggle out of Gerard's grasp
"Why are you being a bitch towards to me?"
"I'm not...you're the one being the jerk, now get off me"
Gerard let go of her "I'm sorry I thought you were"
"Gerard not everything evolves around you, I couldn't give a damm about what you do ok!" Kate yelled as she walked out of the spare room and into Mikey who had gone to look for her and Gerard
"Katie you ok" Mikey asked
"Yeh fine Mikey...your brother and I just got a better understanding"
As Kate started to walk off, Mikey spoke "he's not over you Kate...say's he is but you can tell and you...you can see it with you your not over him"
Kate turned around and spoke whispering her words "I love him still with all my heart but he can never know" Kate responded as she walked off.
Back outside Kate could see that Frank was drunk along with Bob and Ray who had been drinking heaps, Frank jumped up from where he was and ran to Kate picking her up, Kate started to laugh " Babe put me down" Frank placed her down and kissed her with his alcohol tasting lips
"Katie when you wanna go...I feel like some" he whispered in her ear Kate giggled
"Soon lets not be the first to go" Frank nodded and put his arm around her waist where he sat down and pulled Kate down in to lap where she could feel that someone was excited, rubbing against him she decided to get him to want it badly.
As the party progressed the music got louder and so did the talking, lighting a cigarette Kate had also had a couple of shots and had joined Alicia in dancing to the music both were acting crazy but having heaps of fun. Kate couldn't help but glance of at Gerard at times where she could see that he was cuddling in to Lyn-z , a pang of jealousy went through her but she knew to ignore it.
