Chapter 76 Took her for granted

Staring in to a small lounge with cream walls and no pictures hanging off of them Kate continued to look at the sofa where she could see Gerard asleep with Eliza cuddled in to him, Frozen...tears started to well up in her eyes which began to slide down her emotionless face. By now the girl that had answered the door had caught up to Kate and could see what Kate was seeing standing behind her she said nothing.
Having waited in the car long enough Mikey jumped out and bolted into the house to see Kate throw a TV remote at Gerard which hit him in the head, With Kate her anger and stress levels were rising and taking over again so she started to yell “WAKE THE FUCK UP GERARD, AND YOU YA STUPID WHORE GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY BOYFRIEND”
Gerard woke up startled and from the yelling immediately recognised the voice to be Kate’s, with his eyes open he shot up and in the progress pushed Eliza off of him who in turn landed on the floor with a loud thud.
“What the fuck do you think your doing?” Kate screamed
Gerard was in shock but spoke “Baby its not what it seems” he said trying to remain calm.
By now Eliza was awake and fully aware of what was going on she stared at Kate with her big blue eyes looking like daggers “What are you looking at you stupid whore...trying to steal my boyfriend away from me” Kate said yelling at Eliza
“Excuse me your boyfriend came here under his own terms” Eliza yelled back
Gerard knew that Kate was angry with him and that she would be stressing herself out and he didnt want that he just wanted her to listen to him but at the same time he knew that she wouldn’t and that she would run away from this and he couldn’t blame her he hadn’t been truthful with her but he hoped this time she would at least listen to what he had to say
“Baby I don’t know what to say but I’m not with Eliza I swear” Gerard said in a soft voice
“Well what the hell is going on why are you here and what’s with this pathetic note? Kate said throwing the letter at Gerard
Gerard left it on the floor and walked over to Kate and tried to touch her “Don’t touch me”
“I love you Katie, lets talk somewhere” Gerard said
Eliza butted in “What about me Gerard, I love you and you want to go with this stupid bitch who treats you like crap, what about what we had the fun we shared how can you throw all that away”
“He doesn’t have to throw it away you can have him” Kate said with the tears now streaming down her face, finally unable to be there any longer she waddled past the girl and Mikey out the front door and into car where she started crying hard, Gerard followed her outside with Mikey behind him
“Katie open the door please let’s talk” Gerard said in a pleading voice
Kate looked at him and put the keys in the ignition “Baby please we can work this out, please don’t drive away from me” Kate didnt care she needed to get away she was hurting and was really stressing herself out which in turn was stressing the baby out, turning the car on she drove away.
Gerard stood there for what like seemed forever when Mikey spoke “I’m sorry man she found the letter and I couldn’t lie to her anymore she was so worried about you thinking she had done something wrong”
“It’s cool Mikes...I should have never not told her and I shouldn’t have come here...I don’t think she’s gonna be able to forgive me and the last thing she needs right now is this shit” Gerard replied
Eliza came outside trying to work her way over to Gerard “Are you staying with me?”
“No Eliza like I told you earlier...I know I fell asleep alone why were you with me on the sofa...the shit you have fucking caused, I love Kate more then anything, you and I have nothing”
“But couldn’t we at least try”
“Dont you fucking get it Eliza you and I were over along time ago, I have moved on...I don’t want nothing to do with you” Gerard said as he started to walk away and down the street back to his parents house with Mikey following behind him.
Kate had arrived back at the way residence where Alicia was waiting in the lounge “Kate are you ok?”
“No Ali I’m not...I caught him sleeping with her”
“Oh my god, Katie I don’t believe it...he loves you”
“Well I guess not anymore and that’s fine” Kate said still crying
“I’m sorry Katie, I’m sure you guys can work things out”
“I doubt it” Kate said as she started to walk off
Getting into her bedroom she started to put some of her clothes in to an overnight bag she knew of only one place that she could go and that was to Frank’s right now she couldn’t be around Gerard and she didnt want to, she needed to calm herself down before they were to talk as otherwise she knew that she would blow up and that would be the end of it,
Leaving a note on the dresser she left.
Gerard finally arrived home and noticed that his car wasnt there, Alicia was still in the lounge and saw Gerard walk in but said nothing as she knew this wasnt her place to say anything, going into his room where he wanted to collect his thoughts and try and work over what had just happened he saw a note from Kate
Please don’t call me tonight, I need time to understand what has just happened I will be back tomorrow and then I will talk
I just cant be with you right now, I’ll be fine so don’t worry like I know you will
