Chapter 2
Mike's P.O.V.
As it turned out, Trish couldn't make it to our practice. She had to finish unpacking. Tre' seemed disappointed that she didn't come. We really didn't practice much anyway. We ended up drinking and getting stoned.
Billie wanted to know who Trish was at first, but after we explained it to him, he didn't seem to care.
Later
Trish's P.O.V.
I finally finished unpacking my things. I was disappointed that I didn't get to go to Tre's practice. I think he was disappointed too. I was hoping I'd get to meet this Billie Joe that I've heard so much about.
My family and I moved into a new house that is still in Rodeo. Our house is about the same size as the last one. My room is smaller; I like it though. It's comfortable. I put up some new posters. They were from Gilman. Tre' gave them to me. One of the posters was for Tre's band, Green Day. I'd heard of them before. They had played at Gilman quite a bit, but I'd never seen them.
Next Day

At school the next day I sat with Tre' at lunch. His friends were with him. There was a guy named John sitting with us. He was in college, but was visiting Billie Joe and Mike. He was really cute.
