Chapter 7
Franks POV
Where was i?
White Beamed into my eyes.
I recognized the sterile smell.
I try and sit up.
“ARGH!!” I screamed with pain as I moved.
I slump back in the bad with tears in my eyes.
“Mum..?” I sniffed.
“Oh My God, You’re awake!!” Mum shouted as she rushed in and hugged me.
I shuffled uncomfortably in pain.
Mum quickly let go.
“I’m sorry” she said.
The tears welled up and started running down her face.
There were bruises on her face.
“Mum…What happened to you?”
“It was Dad” She sighed.
Franks POV
I spent two weeks in hospital.
I was still sore but wasn’t in agony. We just got home from the hospital.
The house was trashed, plate, bottles, food and clothes chucked all over the floor.
“Ew it smells like someone died in here” I said holding my nose.
“How am I ever gonna clean this up?” Mum said sitting on the dirty couch.
She laid her head in her hands and started to cry.
“Mum don’t cry” I said hugging her.
I got up and started cleaning.
What’s that smell?
I smelt myself. EW. Omg, ew, I think its time for a shower. I wouldn’t be surprised though.
I walked up the stairs it smelt like stale beer. I opened the bathroom door. It looked like it hadn’t been used. Typical, trash everything else in the house
I turned on the shower and stood there the water was nice, perfect temperature.
Flowing down my cuts and bruises.
I started thinking about Brandon. Shit, Fuck, Asshole, Faggot. I haven’t rung him.
I got out the shower and grabbed a towel and to the phone.
“Hello?”
“Hi is Brandon there?” I said politely to the voice on the other side of the phone.
“Hold on..” He sighed.
*Silence*
“Hello?”
“Brandon?”
“Yea, who’s this?” Brandon said
“Frank..”
“Omg Frank Where have you been??”
“In hospital” I said
“What the fuck? Why?”
“Did I ever tell you about my dad?”
“Um…no?!?!?” Brandon said worried
“Well…He’s an alcoholic.”
“Oh really, than why were you in hospital?”
“He beats me and my Mum” I said.
“Babe I’m coming over.
I chucked the phone away and slid down the wall.
I put my head in my hands.
