Matt rose to his feet quickly. "What?"
Val laughed, and the girl helped her up.
"You've been Punk'd."
"But the blood...?"
"Horror makeup. It's a small packet taped to the vest."
"Who all was in on this? Where the hell is Ashton?"
Ashton smiled and gave Matt a hug. "Everyone in this room."
"It was Jimmy's idea, though," one man defended, and Matt embraced the other four.
He turned to the girl, declaring, "I don't know who you are, but here's a hug anyway."
The girl chuckled, and Matt faced the camera.
"I never thought I'd say this. Ashton, you got me good."
Val kissed him. "Just admit you got Punk'd."
"I just got Punk'd. Damn. Punk'd. How did this happen? Damn."
