Crossed Paths

Roxy woke up in a white room. When her eyes adjusted she saw a hospital room, sitting next to her bed, she saw Jane, Zacky and Syn.
“WHAT THE F-“ Roxy yelled, sitting up quickly, but fell back with a cry of pain,
“Yeah maybe we should have warned you about that, you’ve broken a couple of ribs so that’s probably gonna hurt,” Syn stated
“And the dizziness?”
“Ah, that’ll be the concussion,” Zacky added,
“Urgh. Where’s Ash and Matt?”
“Um, I don’t actually know. They said they would meet us here, and that they had to go somewhere first.” Jane said. Roxy sighed, well as much of a sigh as possible without causing herself too much pain.
“So how long have I been here?”
“About 2 days.” Syn replied,
“What happened?”
“Well, I’m not exactly sure. I want to talk to Matt, but I haven’t really seen him. all I know is you fell off a ladder.” Jane replied,
“Don’t you guys know anything?” Roxy asked Zacky and Syn,
“No, not really, we went out, then when we got back we heard a loud thud from upstairs, then when we got there you were on the floor. Then Matt and Ashleigh came in after us. We wanna know where they were though.”
Roxy still wasn’t sure what had happened, but she didn’t have much time to think properly, cause just then Ashleigh walked in carrying a massive teddy, and a bag of grapes.
“Hey, how ya feeling? Me and Matt thought you might feel a bit better if we got you the usual stuff people who are in hospital get, hence the grapes and teddy.” Ashleigh said, dumping the teddy at the end of Roxy’s bed.
“Oh, what about the porn?” Roxy joked, trying to sound disappointed.
“Yeah, well as I'm not old enough, Matt had to get that.” Ashleigh said, laughing at the shocked look on Roxy’s face, as Matt dropped a magazine on her bed.
“Matthew!” Jane exclaimed,
“What?” Matt said,
“You shouldn’t be giving her porn!”
“Oh come on mom, she’ll probably end up giving it to Jimmy anyway.”
“Er no my porn,”
“Anyway where were you two when Roxy was busy falling off ladders?”
“Downstairs watching TV, we just heard a loud thud and ran upstairs to see if Roxy was ok. And she was kinda lying on the floor.” Matt said, nervously. Zacky shot a quick glance at Syn, and guessed they were both thinking exactly the same thing.
“Anyway when can I get out of this place,” Roxy asked seeing that Ashleigh was desperate for the subject to be changed.
“Don’t know ill go ask,” Jane said Standing up and leaving the room.
“T.V my ass you two were having sexy time weren’t you?” Roxy exclaimed as soon as Jane had left the room,
“Sexy time?” Matt, Syn and Zacky asked at the same time,
“She basically means sex,” Ashleigh translated,
“Right? But no.”
“Sure,” Syn Zacky and Roxy said at the same time.
“Whatever,” Ashleigh replied sitting on the end of Roxy’s bed. “You Zacky and Syn have sexy time all together,”
“What’s wrong with that?” Syn asked,
“Yeah?” Zacky joined in,
“STOP IT!” Ashleigh shouted, “ I DON’T WANNA IMAGINE MY BESTFRIEND HAVING A THREESOME WITH TWO PEOPLE I LIVE WITH,”
“What?” Someone asked from the doorway,
“JIMMY,” Roxy exclaimed before regretting it,
“Finally we might have some peace and quiet if you cant scream and shout,”
“Dude you’ve only known me for like a day,”
“Yeah and you already annoy the hell out of me,”
“Leave her alone,” Johnny said walking into the room,
“Well aren’t I popular,” Roxy joked still clutching her side.
“Oh no he just wants you to give him the porn instead of giving it to Jimmy.” Matt answered.
“Oh and that’s Matt’s way of saying he wants it,” Jimmy replied,
“If he wanted it he would have kept it after he brought it plus I think him and Ashleigh are making enough porn anyway,” Roxy joked. Before Ashleigh could retaliate Jane came back into the room,
“I got some good and bad news what do you want first?”
“Bad it can only get better after that,” Roxy answered,
“Ok well your going to have to stay here for a couple more days but then you can come home,” Jane announced as Roxy let out a groan of frustration.
“Why can’t I just go now? I’ll stay in bed!” Roxy moaned.
“Because your not allowed.” Jane stated simply,
“Hey, look on the bright side. At least you got the porn to keep you occupied,” Ashleigh joked,
“Ash. Shut up.”
“Fine. Anyway, I need a drink, so I’m gonna go find somewhere to get one.” Ashleigh said, heading towards the door,
“Yeah, I think I might come with you.” Matt said, following her out the door and down the corridor.
