Alternate Ending For Illusion

I finally started regaining consciousness,but I didn't open my eyes.
I lay there,where ever "there" was,and listened to a beeping noise,
although as I started to remember what happened,I guessed it was
a heart monitor. I groaned,my head was throbbing with pain,and so
was my arm.I opened my eyes a little,and saw my hospital room.
Blake was sleeping in the chair and dad was sitting in a chair next to
him,elbows on his knees,holding his head."Dad..." I mumbled. His head
shot up and he quickly jumped out of his chair and stood by my side.
He leaned down and kissed my forhead,"Baby,are you ok?! Are you
in pain?!Where does it hurt the most?"He looked frantic.I sat up
in bed and opened my eyes completely,to try to look more alert.
"I hurt all over,but there worst thing that hurts is my heart."He stood,
there looking at me so full of pain,and guilt,then I saw a tear run out of
the corner of his eye."I'm so sorry baby,and I know all this is my fault,
and I don't know how I'll ever make it up to you.""Where's Eliza?"
"I kicked her out of the house,and I found out that our marriage wasn't
even legal.""That's a start.""To what?""Making it up to me."He smiled,
for a 40 year old, my dad was in pretty good shape and he has a nice smile,
everytime I saw it, I couldn't help but smile too.He ran his fingers through
my hair,and I saw some movement coming from Blake.He sat up,and didn't
realize I was awake."Sleep well,little brother?"His eyes shot towards me and he
jumped up and ran to the opposite side from dad."Oh,sis,I was so worried!!"He leaned,
down and kissed my head,before attempting to hug me,and then realizing he probably
shouldn't."Your brother saved you'r life,Aiden."I turned to my dad,as he nodded in
reassurance that ti was true.I turned to Blake and I started crying,and he held my
hand."I was right behind you when you hit that tree,and I stopped the car and pulled
you from the wreck and called 911."I motioned for a hug,and whispered an 'I love you'
in his ear,"Love you too sis."Just then the doctor came in."Well, I see you're finally awake."
"How long has it been?""Two days.You have a mild concussion and your right arm is
broken.""When can I go home?""Well,I'll give you one last check and we'll see if you
can go home this afternoon.""What time is it?""About 9:30 in the morning."The doctor
flickered a light in my eye,checked my breathing,and checked my blood pressure.
"Well young lady,you certainly are lucky to be alive, you hit that tree going 115,no one
survives a crash like that.""Well, I had my guardian Angel looking out for me,I said as I
reached up and touched Blake's face."The doctor chuckled. Just then,a wonderfully familiar
face walked into the room."We'll give you two some time alone.",dad said as he patted
Tristan's shoulder before walking out of the room,with Blake following close behind.
"Um,hi..",he said before walkign up beside me,with one arm behind his back.He pulled
out the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from behind his back."These are for you."
he said."Oh my God,they're beautiful."I said in amazement."How long have you been here?"
"Ever since your brother called me,after they brought you here two days ago.""You've
been here for 2 days?!?!""Yeah,so has your dad,Blake,and Bella.""Bella's here too?!"
"Yeah she's outside smokin' a cigarette,and talkin' to Gerard.""Oh, well you know,you
really didn't have to stay here.""I know,but I wanted to.I care about you Aiden."I smiled.
He leaned down and gently but passionately kissed my lips.I felt dizzy like, I had too
much medication but I knew that wasn't it.Was I really falling for this guy as much as I
thought I was?No,I was falling for him even harder."I love you,Aiden.""I love you too."
He smiled,showing every single one of his perfect teeth."So I guess this means we're a couple
now?"I said,with an innocent look on my face."If you want to be.""Yeah,I do.""Good.Because,
I want to."He smiled,and kissed me again,before walking out of the room.I sat there in my
daze and excitement thinking about how he said he loved me,and I laughed when I heard
the beeping on my heart monitor speed up when I thought about our kiss.Just then Bella busted
in the room,scaring the hell out me."Damn it Bella, you nearly gave me a heart-attack!!"
"Well at least it's a good place to have one."she said seriously at first,then laughing.
"How are you,girl?""Pretty damn good right now.""Good,but why is that?Was it Mr.Good-Lookin?"
she said motioning towards the door.I laughed,"Yeah it was my boyfriend.""AHHHH!!!I'm
so happy for you!!!""Thanks,I'm happy about it to."She gave me her account of what had
happened and it was pretty much the same things as what dad had told me.My dad walked in
the room,"You ready to go, sweet heart?""Yeah,but where's my clothes?""Blake went out
and bought you some new ones, I wasn't sure,but I knew he was."He said,handing me a bag.
A nurse came in and took the IV out of my arm and unhooked me from everything.I got up
and walked into the bathroom, I felt like I hadn't peed since before the accident.I went to
the bathroom,and while I was washing my hands, I looked in the mirror, I looked horrible!
I could not believe that I just got asked out looking like this.He must REALLY love me,I thought.
I quickly opened the duffel bag,and to my surprise Blake accually picked out the perfect
thing for me,a white Panic! At The Disco Tee,and a pair of white Criss Angel logo pants.
I smiled at how well he knew me.I quickly got dressed before brushing my teeth,and washing
my face,before attempting to put a little make up on.I walked out of the bathroom,and only
Blake was in the room.I walked up to him and hugged him,laying my head on his chest.
"Thank you. I love it all.""Your welcome, I knew you would."I felt his head rest on top of
mine, I thought it was funny cuz we are twins that he's a head taller than me,he reminded
me so much of my dad.I tilted my head up and kissed his cheek."So is Tristan you're boyfriend
now?""Yep,he sure is.""Well, at least he's in a hospital, so when I kick his ass they MIGHT
be able to revive him."He laughed,and I gave him a 'don't-even-think-about-it' look.I put my
arm around his lower back,and he put his arm over my shoulder,and we walked out of the room.
I looked around for everyone else,and Blake sensed what I was doing."They're downstairs."
"Oh ok."We walked over to the elevator,and stepped in.Blake pressed the button for the
first floor."I'm so glad that woman is out of our lives."He laughed,"Yeah you should have
seen the look on her face as dad threw her stuff out of the front door.He did an impression,
and I busted out laughing.Then,for the first time I realized that I had a black cast on my arm.
"Man, I didn't get to pick the color of my cast.""Oh,you don't like it?I picked it for you."
"No,I love it! I would have picked it out,but I wanted to pick it."I gave him a pouty face,and
he laughed.We steeped out and Bella and Tristan were there waiting."Where's dad?"
"He went to go get the car."Bella said.Blake took his arm off of my shoulders, I looked up,
at him wondering why,then I saw her. Carrie came walking in the front door.Blake instantly
ran up and kissed her,then she turned to me,"Oh Aiden, I'm so glad you're alright!I just got
off of work,but Blake has been keeping me updated.""Thanks, I'm ok."I gave her a hug,
before she took Blake's hand and they walked out together."Well I'm sorry hun but I've got
to go meet Gerard at the mall, so maybe we can hang later?""Sounds great, Bells."She
gave me a hug before walking out of the door. I turned to Tristan."So, I guess we better
get going.""Yeah, we should your dad's waiting."He leaned down and kissed me,the same
way he did before,and held my hand as we walked out. Dad was outside waiting in the Lambo.
"I'll follow you."He told my dad,before getting in his black Burt Reynolds Edition Pontiac
Trans Am. I walked around to the other side of the car,and got in.Dad started to drive home,
with Tristan close behind.It was silent until he finally broke the ice."You know I really am sorry.
I was wrong about the entire thing. I never should have married Eliza,I never should have let her
speak to you that way,and I NEVER should have let her talk me into kicking you and your
brother out."I didn't know what to say."I don't expect you to forgive me for any of it."
"Oh,dad,of course I forgive you, you're my dad."He smiled."By the way,what happened to
my car."Suddenly I heard I car race up beside us, it was Blake and Carrie in my Viper,it
looked like nothing had ever happened to it."How did you?!"I said in shock."A friend of mine,
owed me a favor."I laughed and I rolled down my window,and Blake did so on his,and motioned
for us to pull over,all three cars pulled over on the side of the road. I got out and so did
the others."Hey sis, wanna race?""Your on!"I yelled back. He got into the Lambo,while
dad and Carrie got into Tristan's Trans Am.I quickly got in my car,and laughed when I
realized he did this cuz he thought he would have an advanatge,having only one usable arm.
The look on his face was priceless when he saw me flip the car around to race him backwards,
which I only needed one arm for anyway.Tristan counted down with the horn."3,2,1!"he yelled
and we took off.This is my life, the life I wanna live, I mean, you're only an Angel once right?
