Everything started in a pretty town, in a not so pretty country. Mary was just a random girl who happened to love to go out and food. Vacations were as important as her as having someone to spend them with; she was a girl who knew what she wanted… a perfect summer.
The day she turned sxteen wished she’d had the best summer yet, and on and on. She was a wealthy girl, so she knew that finding money to spend wouldn’t be a problem, anyway, if her parents decided to work instead of spending time with her, at least they had to reward her in some kind of way.
Her mother Alyssa wasn’t the type of woman who loved to raise kids and having to retire from her modeling career to raise Mary’s older sister, Danielle, wasn’t exactly what she planned for her. Doing boring jobs on boring magazines and not having people envy her all the time wasn’t pleasing, at all. Her father, who had the luck to marry Alyssa, gave her and his girls everything they could ever want, so they’d never get upset for his long absences for business, being a plastic surgeon isn’t as easy as people might think, nor as glamorous, Armand knew that he had to work to be the good, and the had to work hard to be the best, after all, It wasn’t a piece of cake raising and keeping a perfect family.
At eight AM Mary was already up, she knew that she had to wake up early to work out, either way her mother would shout at her. She didn’t have what we’d call a nice breakfast, because then she wouldn’t want to run. Having a routine was the most important thing for Mary, having everything go right was the second most important thing.
Run! Lift that weight! Do those sit-ups! Her trainer knew how to push her buttons when it came to force her to do the right thing. Having her as her fattest student wasn’t something she was proud of. Mary’s friend were pretty much like her, but they won every single work out contest there was, and knew that made them famous, and loved it. Being skinny wasn’t easy, but they were ready to take the risk.
Julie, Mary’s best friend was the only one who didn’t belong to the work out club, she was proud to say that she loved herself just the way she was, and knew that the way she was, was exactly what everyone else wanted to be: Chocolate colored hair, hazel eyes, long lashes, long legs and regular body structure. She knew that people who were nice to her was because they were jealous, and same with the people who were mean. Julie loved Mary with all her heart, because she was the only person who was never mean to her, not even once for being so pretty. They were the same age, one being born in September and the other in July.
Mary wasn’t a person with many close friends, she knew that having too many friends included too many gossip, so she liked to keep it simple, although she was nice to everyone, she only kept secrets with three persons in the world: Julie, Caitlyn and Caroline. The twins, as people knew them weren’t even from the country, they just happened to be unlucky kids who were born under a dangerous last name. Though they were mean with almost all the people, everyone seemed to love their blonde hair, blue eyes and red cheeks; they just had a bitchy charisma that no one seemed to be able to escape.
