The Fall

Daddy is very powerful. He told me that often.

He can do almost anything he wants, as long as the President says he can.

But isn't that how we all work?

Daddy got very busy when Mother went away.

He said she was never coming back. It made him very sad. I was sad, too, but I wasn't sure why Mother wasn't coming back.

He never told me.

He didn't talk to me much after Mother left.

So I yelled and screamed at him.

I wanted attention.

He told me he was very busy trying to run Astra.

"I don't care about this place! It can blow up for all I care ! I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!"

That was when he listened to me.
