Today, I tried all of class to get Olive to talk to me. Jenny's already forgotten about how I messed up, because she ended up meeting some guy at the after party and they went out last night and hit it off, apparently. Luke and I are still cool. It's just Olive that won't talk to me. She won't look at me. She won't smile at me.
All of class yesterday and today, I talked to her.
"I'm glad we finished this project early, huh?"
"Pretty easy final, I'd say. What about you?"
"So, what are you doing today?"
Nothing. She wouldn't even part her lips. Not the whole class. Next week is finals week for seniors, then I graduate on the 6th. Then we won't be going to the same school anymore. Then i won't ever see her again.
