Making the Album

Proposals.

Jay leaned against the chain-link fence, feeling it cut into his back. It was cold for late October, and he wished Mike would hurry up and fill the gas tank. Blowing a stream of smoke from his mouth, Jay closed his eyes.

And suddenly, a pair of arms encircled him, squeezing tight. Jay's eyes sprang open and he had a momentary panic attack.

Until he realized it was Mike who was hugging him. The bassist kissed his cheek gently and smiled.

"Up to no good as usual, I see."
"Of course." Jay replied with a smile.
"I'll have to teach you a lesson."
"Is that a promise?"

Mike snickered and opened the car door.

"Ladies first."

"So...where is everyone tonight?"Billie asked.
"Tre and the guys went out drinking. I guess it's their way of saying good-bye to the town. I think Mike and Jay went off somewhere....and Barry....who knows where he is..."
"No interruptions then?"

Tony giggled and curled up on chest. Billie sighed. It just felt right, holding her like this. He could hear her heartbeat.

They said nothing for the next few moments, letting Fall Out Boy's lead singer take up the slack. Then Tony giggled.

"What do you have in mind for tonight, Miss Antoinette?"Billie asked.
"Follow me." Tony replied, standing up and tugging Billie to his feet.
"Where are we going?"
"To the stars, Mr. Armstrong, to the stars."

The car's engine was off and the windows were fogged. It was a flashback to high school, only Mike couldn't remember enjoying himself this much in the backseat of any car.

Jay's skin had a sheen of sweat that made it glow. He was the most beautiful thing Mike had ever seen, and the bassist couldn't help but tell him so.

"You're beautiful."
"Shh. You'll make me blush." Jay whispered, and covered Mike's mouth with his own.

It was a night to remember. It was skin against skin, smooth caresses that made them gasp and moan. Hard, passionate kisses that took both their breath away.

It was beautiful. It could never be described as fucking, because fcking was something rushed and dirty. It was pure and simple, the kind of sex that people write songs about. The kind of sex that you can only have once in a lifetime.

And laying there together, Mike knew it was right.

"You're doing this to punish me, aren't you?" Billie moaned.

Tony giggled, and planted more feathery kisses on his neck and shoulders.

"You're not being punished. In fact, I think Harold is quite enjoying this."
"We've named it Harold?"
"I've named it Harold." Tony said fondly, and slipped her hand into his pants.

Billie groaned and kissed her hard.

"God...you're such a bitch..."
"I love you too."

He undressed her, removing each stitch of clothing gently, kissing her all the while. And then they laid together, kissing and touching.

It took hours and involved whipped cream. But when it was over, they were both exhausted and grinning.

"I love you, Billie."

The lead singer was rummaging in the nightstand drawer.

"You aren't planning another surprise, are you?" Tony asked suspiciously. Billie rolled over, something clenched tight in his hand. "And what is that?"

Billie took her left hand, rubbing it gently. His eyes were moist.

"Tony...will you...will you marry me?"

Her jaw dropped. The ring was simple, silver and intricate with a small green stone set in the center. For a few moments, she couldn't speak. Then she burst into tears.

Billie hadn't been expecting that reaction, and looked confused.

"Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes!" Tony wailed and kissed him hard.
"I love you." Billie whispered soothingly and slipped the ring onto her finger.

It was a perfect fit.
