Those words went around my head over and over again.

It was so…weird that she’d say something like that, random and weird.

“I’m sorry I put jelly in your bed and I’m sorry I was mean to you. I’m also sorry to you Carlton. I’m sorry I tried to push you into a relationship when it’s obvious you don’t want one. I’m sorry.”

I stared Christa. “What’s the catch?” I whispered “What do you want in return, what are you going to do? What’s the catch?”

She looked shocked, and then smiled warmly “No catch.”

I felt Carlton stiffen besides me “No catch?”

Christa shook her head “Nope, I just want you to accept my apology, and I hope you’ll invite me to your wedding. I do understand if you don’t want to though…I wasn’t exactly nice to you, was I?”

“…No catch?” I asked in disbelief, making Christa laugh.

“No catch. I promise.”

Carlton relaxed and smiled at her “Well, I accept your apology, but it’s not me that needs to be convinced.”

They both looked at me. “Err…sure.” I said uneasily “Yeah I accept it.”

Why do I get the feeling I’m going to regret this?

Christa’s P.O.V

Stage 1: Get Carlton to trust me complete.

I walked into mine and Jessica’s room smiling like a maniac “I did it! I apologised Jess! Everything is going great!”

She looked slightly uneasy, and then stood up “Chris, I’m not sure about this. Maybe this is just taking it a step to far…”

I was shocked! Things are never too far! Never.

“I don’t see how this is any different from the times we did things for you.”

Jess sighed “But this time it’s like…I don’t know. Chris this is a legal thing. They have to do it. So doing this is just going to slow things down, not stop them completely!”

I thought for a second. How do you stop things completely? A small smile spread across my face making Jess jump up.

“No! I will not let you hurt her!”

My smile dropped “Why shouldn’t I? She has something that belongs to me! Unless of coarse you’d rather I hurt that little brat you call a sister?”

Jess growled at me “Lay one finger on Mia and you die. I will make it so painful that you beg for my mercy, and I’ll just laugh at you.”

…Note to self; never touch Mia unless you have a death wish.

I sighed “I was only joking about me hirting Mia and killing Allison.”Not “But I’m not joking about my plan.”

Jess shook her head “Please, just think about it! Do you realise what your actions will do?”

Yes, they’ll get me the man of my dreams!

“I just want you to think about it Chris. Okay?” Jess asked in a soft voice.

“Sure I’ll think about it.” I said to Jess, but I think we both knew I was lying through gritted teeth. If I want something I get it by any means possible.

I want Carlton. So I’ll get him.
