Screaming Dreams

The year of 1917 was important to many people in plenty of ways: Woodrow Wilson began his second term; the United States declared war on Germany; the first Pulitzer Prizes were awarded; Technicolor system one was introduced with The Gulf Between; and J.R.R. Tolkien began writing The Book of Lost Tales. To me, that year was important for very different reasons: I found the love of my life, Edward Cullen; I was preparing for an arranged marriage with a strange man; and it was the last entire year that my heart remained beating.
