Shine a Light

If you go down to the woods today I'm sure you'll

Feeling very refreshed and rather happy with myself I trotted down to the path on the gardens where Billie had asked me to have dinner with him. I caught sight of him sitting on a bench not too far from the end of the path and couldn’t help but smile. He was dressed in a black shirt, tight black jeans and his famous scruffy hair. He grinned when he saw me and my cheeks flushed as he stood up, watching me come closer towards him.
“Hey” He smiled awkwardly leaning in to press his lips against my cheek.
“Hi” I grinned back at him.
“How are you feeling?” he chuckled.
“I’m better thanks” I smiled as he took my arm and we began to walk around the grounds of the garden.
Soon our banter-full chatter became more serious; we were currently sitting on the grass in between a few trees. I had tucked my feet underneath me and Billie had his arms wrapped around his knees.
“Can I ask you a question?” he looked down at his feet.
“What?” I asked, too curious to rip into him.
“Why is it that you aren’t attached?”
I swallowed and looked down at the grass that was currently being twirled between my fingers.
“I was half expecting that.”
He stayed silent, urging me to continue.
“Okay, well…lets just say that I’m not good in relationships, I’m picky and a complete bitch and well a lot of people don’t get me.”
I pulled up a few strands of grass from the tuft in my palm, scattering them back down to the earth, he sighed.
“I think I get you”
“Oh do you?” I smirked looking up at the rising grin underneath his small nose.
“You hate needy commitment shit, that’s why you freaked after yesterday afternoon.”
I shrugged, not wanting to admit he was right, “Yeah I suppose lets just say I had committed myself to the rest of my life being a hermit spinster living in a grubby LA apartment with 100 cats.”
Billie chuckled, “And then you met me and I knocked you off your feet”
I frowned at him playfully, “That’s what you think.”
He chuckled and we both looked at each other for a moment, I was defiantly not going to let this go slushy, his eyes were looking at me in a way that just screamed “What a wonderful life”
“What about you then? Famous, successful guy, who’s, you know, decent looking”
He smirked at me then shifted to crossing his legs on the grass.
“Nah, not much really, it’s hard always working and stuff you know”
His answer wasn’t very precise and I decided not to delve any further and ruin any kind of ‘moment’ we were having.
“Hmm” he began, switching the subject,
“That’s what is fascinating about you, you get lost in your own thoughts and I never know what you are thinking.”
He grinned at me from under his floppy hair.
“How poetic” I teased finding myself crawling over to him on the grass, unable to resist that frantic look in his eye and sexual snarl on his lips.
He un-crossed his legs and quickly lifted me onto his lap pressing his lips forcefully against mine, and god it just DID things to me.
My stomach tossed and he turned over, fresh grass and sensual heat filling my every sense as his hands traced up my thighs. My eyes darted upwards at the blue sky above me as he moved down my body to fiddle with the fastening of my trousers.
As soon as his nuisance trousers and mine were removed I giggled as he began kissing me furiously again on the grass.
“Let’s hope no grannies take a detour otherwise they’ll get a shock” he chuckled.

Slightly ruffled and giggling like kids we arrived back at the hotel. Billie kissed me goodbye and had to race up to the studio as Tre and Mike had been ringing him constantly as he was over an hour late. I chuckled to myself, as happy as you probably would be with yourself if you’d just had hot spontaneous sex in the grounds of some hotel. If there were ghosts here I could probably put 100 dollars on the fact that if they were watching that then they had a treat.
I opened my hotel room door and had the shock of my life when I saw Mike sitting on my bed.
