Nineteen year old Juliette Birch wants to be more than the average kid her age. She doesn't want to go off to college and she doesn't want to figure out a career just yet. Eventually, her father's delusions of Juliette becoming a college soccer star and her mother's obsession with her daughter settling down become too much. Juliette needs out.
When she's invited by her best friend Jack to escape Towson, Maryland for a bit and instead tour with his band, Juliette jumps at the chance. Before she really knows what's going on, the teenager finds herself traveling the country with not only her three friends and cousin, but also her legendary crush, lead singer Alex. Over the course of the tour she finds relationships she'd once thought rock solid and never-changing altering before her eyes and, ultimately, Juliette falls in love with someone she never expected.
