Bloody Secret

Annabelle is a vampire that has survived for nearly a century, but what happens when a werewolf shows up at her door?

Below is a part of a chapter:
He pulls me from the pile of books and wood. His hand shoots down and tries to grab my arm but I pull back. I accidentally hit a vase on a nearby coffee table. The vase shatters into a million pieces. He drops me into the pieces of the vase. I throw my arm back for support but a piece of the vase stabs into my palm. It begins to bleed and everything seems to go in slow motion. Before a single drop of blood has hit the floor Jason has me by the throat. His ice cold fingers hold me in place as his fangs reach for my neck. Adrenaline pulses through my veins. Just as I feel the sensation of his fangs piercing my throat the front door is thrown open. Blood flows out of my neck into Jason's awaiting mouth. Someone throws Jason off me causing me to drop to the floor. Pain shoots through my body from my neck.
