Status: Done, not at all satisfied. I had more planned for these two, but after 2-3 years it's just not coming together anymore. Crappy ending, I'm sorry.

Part eight
Part eight:
The audience applauded loudly as the girl from Germany ended her routine. I stood at the top of the arena, checking my ribbon mechanism.. everything seemed to be in order.. I looked down and saw the guys sitting in front row. Even the bandmembers from HIM came to watch.. They were nice guys, for what I knew.. I hadn’t had the chance to really talk tot hem.. sober.. I climbed back down and waited for my turn.. after this girl.. O christ, it really was close now..
I sat bouncing my feet up and down. My body was shaking from all the nerves.. god, can’t they pick a better moment to come? I bowed my head down and closed my eyes. I wasn’t a firm believer of god.. so I figured I’d just pray to myself.. to my body.. To beg it to do well.. to listen to my mind and make sure I’d win.. For Stacey.
~Ryan’s POV~
We sat front row.. I thanked Bam a million times for this. My feet were bouncing up and down as I watched the girl finish her routine.. she did good, but I just knew Siri would do better. I looked around for the millionth time, seeing if I could find her in the mass. Bam chuckled. "Don’t worry, she’ll come out on that floor in a few minutes, and then you’ll see her juuuust fine.. " I elbowed him in the side. "Shut up, I’m just a little nervous for her.. I want her to do good.. " I saw Ville smile next to me and I followed his gaze. There she was, she was sitting in a chair, face down.. bouncing her feet, just like I was. Her hair was in front of her face, so I couldn’t see it.. but I guessed she was mumbling to herself. Her name was called, even I was nervous now.. She stood up and walked to the floor.. She threw a quick glance up to the ceiling and smiled. There was the game-face.. I couldn’t help but stare.. She really knew how to distinct herself from the others. Her armes were decorated with all kinds of swirls and celtic designs.. my guess, sharpie, that’s so like her. She looked punk..
~Ville’s POV~
If the dance would be as good as her clothes, she’d have it. Linde nudged me and winked. He knew I liked her.. She walked towards the center of the floor, there wasn’t any music yet. I couldn’t keep my eyes off her though. She took a deep breath, lifted her head and smirked. Her face was visible on the big screen. I smiled at this.. she was nervous as hell, I knew she was.. I waited patiently for what was to come.
~Your POV~
I lifted my head with a smirk.. I knew they were expecting the music to start soon, there was mumbling throughout the whole arena. I needed them to be quiet for my start to have the best impact. So I waited for them to quiet down. They were probably thinking I choked. Another deep breath, and there I went. I threw my head in my neck, lifted my hands over my head and clapped. Just as the ribbon fell down, all the lights went out. I felt the ribbon land on my hands and I quickly took it and climbed up. This was the scary part. I wasn’t using any safety measures.. I could seriously plummet to my death, if something went wrong. But I knew I could do it. I quickly climbed up. I was just at the top, as the lights went on. I heard some confused sounds and smirked. As I locked my legs in the ribbon, I clapped loudly a few time, signalling the music to start. I was dancing to nightwish, and the beginning was a loud guitar solo. On that bit of the song, I would let myself roll down the ribbon, which was around my waist. The lights dimmed, and the right note was played. I let myself fall. My hair was twirling widely around me and my arms were stiff next to my body, I needed that to keep my balance. Loud "awws" were heard. I had my eyes fixed on the ground, every time I passed it, just as I was about to hit the floor, I slammed my legs together, blocking the ribbon, making me stop just a few inches above the ground, the "awws" only grew louder. Because of the speed I had from the fall, I was rotating, I flexed my entire body, so I would be going in circles, as a stiff board. After a few notes, I pressed my hands on the floor, and pushed myself off as hard as I could, I grabbed the ribbon and started doing tricks with it, making my body the important piece in the figures I made. I even managed a heartagram, just to humour Ville.
After my ribbon part, I made it the center of my dance. I danced around it. I had a lot of backflips and summersaults in my routine, but made sure it was still dance. During my last backflip, I noticed the crowd had been dead quiet the entire time. I took a deep breath, it was time for my finish. I took a head start, ran towards the ribbon and climbed halfway up again. I made it twirl around, so I was going in circles. When it went fast enough, I jumped off, in the middle of the circle. I clapped my hands during my fall, so the ribbon would fall down too, if all went well, in a circle around me. Now the gasps truly were loud, but I had a way of catching myself, so I would get hurt as little as possible. It was still about a six metre drop, but I practiced. And thank god, it went how I wanted it to go. At the last note, I hit the ground. I made it sound more worse by slamming my hands on the floor unnoticed. A sharp pain went through my wrist, I didn’t quite catch my fall correctly, but that were later worries. The ribbon slowly draped around me and as I felt the last bit hit the ground, I stood up and took a bow. The entire arena was gawking at me, including de judges. I was feeling confident until I saw this. Doubt overtook my body and my smirk dissapeared. That was, until a loud applause errupted. I lifted my head and smiled. The applause wouldn’t stop.. I ran off the floor, a grin plastered on my face. This, this was what I had worked for so hard! It went exactly as planned! Well, okay besides the wrist thing then.. I sat down in the waiting area next to the floor. A lot of girls came and patted me on the back, telling me in halfass English how great I did. Others just gave me dirty stares. I could only smile and breathe heavily. I wasn’t able to produce a normal sentence. As everyone’s head went to the screen, I looked as well. My score was about to be shown. And I was last.. so I fit was higher than the current number one, I knew I had won immediately. Still, only my face was on the big screen. I only now noticed how exhausted I looked, but shrugged it off. One by one, the judges scores were shown. One was lower, but he was known as a corrupt judge. Seeing as I didn’t "offer" him anything, he wouldn’t give me as high a score as the others, but I guess he couldn’t stay behind on this one. I quickly did the math in my head, but the crowd beat me to it. They cheered as the final ranking was shown on the big screen, I saw my name at the top. If it was humanly possible, the grin on my face grew even more. I stood up and raised my hands in the air and took in the loud applause that was heard. The smile stayed on my face and I closed my eyes. *Oh shit.. I stood up to fast..* My breathing was still irregular and I felt myself fall backwards. This wasn’t good. But before I could hit the ground, someone caught me and gently placed me back on the chair. A cold cloth was put on my forehead as my eyes focused on Ryans face. He was grinning like a madman and hugged me. "It took jumping over a fence and dodging some guards to get here.. but damn Siri, I’m so proud of you! " He whispered hugging me tight. I smiled and hugged him back. "Thanks Ryan.. " I whispered. My voice was hoarse and shaky, but it was there. A guy tapped me on the shoulder and motioned to the floor. The second and third girl already stood on the podium, and they were waiting for me. I smiled at Ryan, stood up and ran up the floor. I couldn’t help myself, I did a double backflip as I approached the podium. The crowd laughed as I took my spot. *First place.. First place..* Was all that went through my head. I bent down to receive the medal a woman held out for me. *First place..*
