Intensity

I did not like the way he looked at her.

And in a way, that frightened me. I was acting like a complete dumb shit when it came to this girl. Just like from day one, I had always been drunk around her. I had spent my entire high school life - well one of them that is - to making this girl's life pure hell. And here I was, giving her my coat, because she was cold, and I didn't like the way one of my old friends was staring at her tits.

What the fuck am I becoming?

I could though; I could just leave her right now, and let Alec have his way. I mean he’s still nineteen, he’s hormonal. And judging from the way that he kept drooling over Emmbla, if he had his way, she would be tied up to his bed in two seconds flat.

I sighed as I draped my arm over her shoulders. I should be completely disgusted for even touching her. But unlike Clare, she didn't have leathery skin. Unlike Clare, I doubt Emmbla was that loose. I smiled as the thought of Emmbla on my bed, and me pounding on top of her etched its self, forming silvery lines, highlighting the plump accents of her boy.

"Calm it down, Cullen my boy." Alec snickered, edging me in the side. My day-dream fading, but a slight pressure appearing. I rolled my eyes, as Alec nodded to me approvingly.

"You know, I would tap that, why haven't you?" he whispered. I was pretty sure that Emmbla couldn't hear us; she was lost in her own world, hugging my wool coat against her bare body. I envisioned her without the coat, her skin warmed up, and her tank top no longer ice, but damp and see through. Alec stifled a laugh as I felt the pressure throb in my jeans.

"Shit."

"Nice time for a woody huh?" Alec mumbled, biting his tongue from laughing.

"Shut the fuck up."

I shook my head, letting my hair fall over my eyes; I opened the door to the passageway to the mansion. It was underground and almost as cold as it was outside. I felt Emmbla shiver beside me as we walked down the stone steps. I could almost see her feet freezing and her body screaming in revenge against her wanting to stop working.

I smiled a little, the sadistic side of me. The natural side of me, showing more dominance. I was going to enjoy this. Her teeth chattered, and Alec shifted his moments. Slowly, he moved towards where Emmbla was stumbling along. Her delicate fingers reaching for my arm trying to stay up, but every time I evaded them. She never spoke though. She didn't complain.

I scoffed as Alec leaned down and gathered her up in his arms and started to carry her. Her body convulsing in his arm, I rolled my eyes. It was only about another mile until we were at the mansion.

"Where are we going?"

I ignored her question as we continued walking. Alec was holding her close to his chest. And I could hear her teeth chatter. We walked another fifteen minutes when we finally reached the entrance to the outside grounds of the large mansion. Water surrounded the brightly lit mansion. I heard a barely audible gasp as I opened the large trap door.

“Oh my god.”

Alec smirked at her remark, as I rolled my eyes, and started to through the dew painted grass to the dirt road where my restored 1964 roadster was located. The silver paint gleamed in the moon light. I heard another gasp come from her lips, and I smirked.

“Alec, get her into the car.”

Alec did as he was told, and dropped her down to the grass so she could walk. She stumbled. And I mentally noted to make sure she got warmed up when we got to my wing of the castle. I slid into the driver’s seat as she curled up on Alec’s lap. She hadn’t said anything to him at all since I told her not to. I glanced at her out of the corner of my eyes, and noticed that her lips were turned a pale shade of blue.

Shit…

I slammed the door shut, sped out and raced toward the castle.
