Wreckage From the Past Haunts Me; Shakes Me to the Bone

“So how was your guys night?” Jocie asked me and Tegan as we helped JB Diz and Matty set up the stage for Atreyu’s set.

“Pretty good.” I answered, “Me and Jimmy laid in bed all night watching movies.”

“You didn’t do anything else? Because Jimmy has a hickey on his neck.”

“We started to, but he said he didn’t want to do anything yet. That he had a night planed for when we were on vacation. I’m glad though. I don’t think I’m ready yet.” I said with my head down. I felt a hand on my back and looked up to see JB Diz there.

“Don’t feel bad hun. Trust me you’re going to love what he has planed. He just wants it to be perfect and not make you rush into anything you’re not ready to.” He said as he hugged me. We all looked at him funny. JB Diz had actually made sense.

“What? I can give good advice sometimes.” He said as he walked away muttering something about us thing he was a moron or something. I laughed slightly before looking down at my ring finger. The white gold stood out, but the small sapphire stood out even more. Especially with the two white diamonds next to it on either side. I moved it around on my finger before taking it off and putting it on the chain around my neck.

“What about you Tegan?” Nikki asked as she set up Dan’s guitar.

“The same thing.” She said laughing, “Well actually we relaxed in a bath together and yes Zacky has a hickey on his neck too. I marked him as mine!”

“Wow...You guys are odd.” Matty said as he walked away.

“It’s because the penguins are stealing my sanity! Will you help me get it back Matty?” I asked as I ran after him. He ran through the back laughing as I jumped on his back. He nearly fell, but caught his balance.

“See Mommy’s doing fine too, but I don’t think I can say the same about Matty.” I heard Jimmy say as he held a camera.

“Hey babies.” I said as I jumped off Matt’s back. I kissed his cheek before kissing Jimmy.

“Guys I told you I would send a video every week and this is week number 1. As you can tell me and mommy are doing really good guys. I’ll have Matty video tape all tonight so you guys can see the concert and what we do back stage ok? Here’s mommy for right now though.” He said as he turned the camera on me.

“Hey sweeties. How’s my baby girl and my baby boy? You better be being good for Oma. When we get home Mommy and Daddy aren’t going to be leaving for a while ok? We’ll all sleep in Daddy’s bed with what ever movie you want! And we’ll stay up all night eating ice cream. I promise!” I said as I blew a kiss to the camera. Jimmy kissed me again before turning off the camera. Matty took it and said he was going to get it set up for tonight. I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head in the crook of his neck and kissed the hickey I left making him shiver.

“I miss them.” I mumbled as I sighed.

“I do too baby.” Jimmy said as he kissed my temple as he ran his hand up and down my back. I sighed and pulled away before walking over to the stage again. I grabbed Brandon’s cymbal and hooked that up before testing it. He nodded and went back to sleep. I laughed and shook my head. Now do you see why we were setting up the stage? The guys had to do another interview after the one with the guys, but it was in another town so they got back really late.

“What should we do? We have five hours before the concert even starts.” Lusty asked once we were done.

“Why don’t we set up everything for tomorrow?’ Jocie offered.

“I think I’m going to take a bath and lay down for a bit. I don’t feel too good right now.” I said as I stood up. They all nodded and said they would see me later. Once I was at the hotel I collapsed on the bed, not even thinking about the bath anymore. I heard Jimmy chuckle before he laid down on top of me; resting his head on my neck.

“You didn’t sleep well last night.” He said as he kissed my neck.

“I know.” I whispered. The feeling of his lips on my neck was comforting. My dreams had been what kept we awake at night. Well they’re more of memories. Memories of what happened the night I decided to get my things together and call the cops. I sighed and let out a quite moan as Jimmy bit down on the closest skin he can get a hold of. Just like that all the thoughts I had disappear. I ran my hand down his back as he softly sucks the skin into his mouth still nibbling it slightly with his teeth.

“You’re leaving a hickey.” I mumbled. He laughed and nodded before running his tongue over the burning flesh making me sigh as the fire was extinguished and a tingling was introduced. I set my hands on his shoulders gripping them as he sucked the skin back in through his teeth. He slide his tongue over it again before pulling back and kissing it. He got up and walked into the bathroom where we have a nice sized Hot Tub before I heard the water start. I got up and walked over to the dresser to pull out some clothes to wear. We were going to be in Romania for tonight and tomorrow before taking off to China the day after. If that makes any sense. I pulled out some Pjs before pulling out some boxers for Jimmy too. I sat back on the bed and looked down at my ring. I thought about how I want my wedding. I don’t want the average wedding. In fact I want my wedding to be pretty plan to be honest. I don’t want a huge white wedding dress. I don’t even want a white dress. I want the wedding to be purely...Avenged! I want it to be punk-ish.

“What are thinking about?” I heard Jimmy ask as he stood in front of me.

“Our wedding.” I said simply. He smiled and held his hand out.

“Are you excited or regretting it?”

“More then excited.” I said as I kissed him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the bathroom. I closed the door and walked over to where he had the water running. He stripped of his clothes and climbed in motioning for me to join him. I nodded and did the same. The warm water rushed around me as I sat back with my back pressed tightly against his chest. He smiled into my hair and pressed a kiss to temple before resting his hands on my stomach. I sighed and just laid there content for the next hour at least.

Tegan’s P.O.V

I laughed as yet another pair of boxers were thrown on stage. I saw Zacky laugh as a pink plaid bra was thrown inches from my foot. I kicked it away from my foot a bit laughing as I did so. Another one flew up this time landing on the end of my bass. I shook it off and pushed it over to Trista’s drums. There was a note attached to it which made me laugh. Our song ended and I picked it up.

“Oh shit.” I said as I started laughing. I nearly fell over from the note itself not to mention that the bra was pink with green froggies on it. I handed the bra back to Trista. She started laughing as well before reading the note to the crowd.

“This one is totally a Johnny rip off. It says “Bang me like you bang your bass.” Sorry girls but Tegan is engaged!” She said as she threw that bra back to Jason. We started into We Stand Up making the crowed go wild. Everyone was singing along with us the best they could. Jason was being our Dancer. Dancing around in the pink bra and a pair of underwear that had been thrown up during Atreyu’s set. I danced with him a bit, still playing making the crowd scream even more. I saw Zacky run out on stage and tackle Jason before dragging him off stage. Jason just pouted and waved making everyone laugh. Half way through our set the lights kicked out and we heard Matt’s voice kick in. I knew Trista was freaked out. She has a huge fear of the dark. We all looked up at the screens on both sides of the stage. There was light in the arena now. I looked over at Trista who was releasing her grip on the cymbal.

Those of you who know me know that I’m both Fiction and Misfit’s older brother yes? Good. Well see over the break they did something to me which means I need to get my vengeance. No pun intended. So I figured why not show some embarrassing videos, but then I thought about it and said well that’s to easy. They’re expecting that. So I’m basically I’m warning you that I will get you and soon Matt warned as he smirked. The lights kicked back in, but this time they didn’t come back on. I heard Trista scream and saw someone with a flash light comforting her. The light hit they’re leg and I saw Matt’s pass. I could hear him whispering to her that it was ok. I felt someone’s arm around my waist making me scream as well. I heard Zacky laugh before kissing my neck.

“Calm down babe. Matt’s got Trista. The lights were supposed to come back on before the video went off.” I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder. He rubbed my back slightly before kissing my head.

“I can’t wait for you to be Mrs. Vengeance.” Zacky whispered. I looked up at him and smiled, though I could only see the faint outline of his head and he’s bright green eyes.

“Oh gag me!” We heard Johnny say before a loud crash, “Babe you pushed me off stage!”

“Oops.” Came Nikki’s reply, knowing her for this long though I knew she was smirking.

“Tegan hold Trista until Jimmy gets here.” I nodded and held my hand out. The flashlight shone on my hand and I saw Trista’s slightly paler one grab on to it. Zacky reached out and wrapped an arm around her and I moved slightly so she could be between us. She was shaking just from fear alone, but I knew her mind was racing at one hundred miles an hour right now trying to figure out why the lights were still out. I heard Matt tell Jocie that he was going in the back to help the guys out. I felt a hand on my back and then Trista being gentle tugged left.

“I gotta ya babe.” I heard Jimmy whisper. I’m sure she was clinging to him for dear life.

“Hey everyone I’m sorry to say, but we have broke both of your generators which is why the lights are still out. The guys are trying to fix it and there’s an attended coming over right now. So they should be up in a little bit, but for now please feel free to light the area with your cell phones.” I heard Syn say and then someone translate it. I saw a bunch of cell phones being lite up making me laugh.

“You gotta love the new age.” Matt Berry said as he walked around us.

“Let’s get out of here. I don’t think you guys will play after anyways. Trista’s too shook up.” Zacky said. I nodded and grabbed his hand. He lit up the area with his cell phone. We walked out of the arena hitting several things along the way.

“Text Matt so he doesn’t freak out.” I said as I stopped outside the little restaurant outside of the entrance. He stopped and nodded before leaning against the wall and pulling out his phone. He put his phone back in his pocket after he sent the text and grabbed my hands, pulling me into him. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He smiled and wrapped both arms around my waist.

“I love you.” He whispered as he leaned his head on mine.

“I love you too.” I whispered as I kissed him. He rested on hand on my cheek before pulling back slightly.

“Let’s go relax baby.” He said as he pulled me back to the hotel. I smiled and nodded following him. When we got to the room he laid on the bed sighing as he did so. I smiled and grabbed my pjs, changed and laid down with him. He stripped of his clothes except his boxers before lying down again. He wrapped his arms around me before pushing me on my back and straddling my hips. I looked up to him and smiled as I saw his cheesy grin. I laughed slightly when he grabbed my hands and pinned them at my side. He gently started to kiss up and down my neck with loving kisses until he found the one spot that makes me shiver. He smirked before biting down on the spot and sucking. Soothing the bite with his tongue and soft kisses every now and then. I moaned out again as he gently bite down again.

“I marked you as mine.” He said as he laughed and all I could think was “Shit he heard me.”
