'above the influence' is the girl who is best friends with Mikey, who she thinks lives at California and is 17 and a guy. She was invited to the MSN conversation the boys had, Mikey begging her to explain to the boys about the 'website' Mikey is in.
Of course, she's oblivious that they are indeed My Chemical Romance, but thinks that they're just girls and one guy who role plays as them. In a convincing manner, but of course, she theorizes the boys of My Chemical Romance are too busy to have MSN and have an account on this 'website' .
