Taken

I woke up the next morning to the bright sunlight. Damn sun, I started to stretch when I felt an arm around my waist. I looked to see it was Matt. He stayed with me the whole night. He was still wearing all his clothes from yesterday. This is the weirdest thing. Most girls would scream their heads off if the woke up in the morning next to their kidnaper, but I was perfectly fine with it.

I rubbed my eyes from the sleep that was left in them and felt wide awake. I felt Matt pull me closer to him in his sleep. He looked so cute with his hair messed up and a little smile playing on his lips. I looked at his arms, his tattoos were amazing. I lightly traced the patterns from his wrist all the way to the top of his shoulder.

“Don’t stop” said Matt startling me from my trance. I looked at him shocked, “I didn’t know your were awake” I said embarrassed. “I only woke up like a minutes ago, don’t stop it feels good” he said as he closed his eyes. I continued to trace his tattoos as I looked at his face. He had a smile as I traced his arm lightly. “Matt?” I said quietly.

“Hmm” he moaned with his eyes still closed, “Can I ask you something?” I said carefully. I didn’t want to start a fight where I would lose my temper. “Anything” he said as he opened an eye to look at me. “Why did you really kidnap me?” I asked softly, still running my fingers up and down his arm.

“I guess….. When I first saw you, you had this impact on me. You were so beautiful laughing and hanging out with your friends. I watched you maybe for an hour and then you started to leave and I guess I didn’t want you to, so I followed you to your house. The next day we were out of there but after all these months I still couldn’t get you out of my head, so I did a little research about you, and I guess the more I found out about you the more I loved you” he said as he looked in to my eyes.

I searched his face for any hint of something other than honesty, but there wasn’t. “I think I understand” I said as I thought about everything he told me. “Will I ever get to see my family again?” I asked, “of course you will…. I don’t know when but I promise you will” he said. “Thank you” I said and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before I jumped out of bed and headed for the kitchen.

Matt’s P.O.V

I touched the spot on my cheek where she kissed me. The moment her lips touched my cheek it sent a shiver down my spine and gave my body Goosebumps, I’ve never met a girl that did the things she did to me. She was amazing.

When I woke up to her tracing my tattoos lightly with her small fingers, I couldn’t help but feel like I was in heaven as if this is the way I was suppose to wake up every morning. Last night I was so happy when she asked me to stay with her. I watched her sleep before I too fell asleep. For the first time in months I’ve had the best nights sleep. I couldn’t help but feel something growing inside my chest like a huge bubble. It was hope, that maybe, just maybe she feels the same way for me as I do about her.
