At Starbucks...
Angela's POV
7:00 p.m.
I ordered a mocha frap and 2 chocolate waffles while waiting for Jasper.
"7:00 p.m." I sighed.
7:15 p.m.
15 minutes have passed and still no sign of my date. The cup's half-way full and so is my waffles.
7:16 p.m.
It started raining, still no sign of Jasper.
Though I refrained from drinking the rest of my coffee, my waffle's already finished.
7:20 p.m.
"Darn it. I think I need to order more waffles."
I pondered.
Until a shady dude came in, soaked.
"Sorry I'm 16 minutes late." Jasper said catching his breath.
"Nah, it's alright." I slyly smiled. I shrugged off the signs of impatience 'cause I pitied him.
He went to the counter to order his own coffee and a slice of cake then took a seat.
We were actually "dating".
"So, what'd I miss?" He asked.
"Nothing much, really."
His eyes stared at the plate and empty cup I had from awhile ago.
"You already ate, did you?"
"Uh.. yea."
"Are you still hungry? I'll order another frap and muffin for you." He offered.
"Why?" I asked being lost.
"Well, normally the guy's the one who orders the food for his date." He chuckled.
"Oh! Sorry, I never knew." I blushed embarrassed.
"It's cool. So is that a yes?"
"Um, sure. Thanks."
He stood up again then ordered a meal for me.
"Here."
"Thanks." I smiled.. blushing.
What the heck?
"I'm guessing this is your first date." He asked.
"Yup." I said biting the walnut muffin.

"So, why were you late anyways?" I questioned.
"Well, my dad scolded me for something not reasonable to be scolded at." He answered.
"What did you do? If I may ask."
"He really doesn't like me to go on dates you see. Ever since me and my ex broke up." He sighed.
"You have an ex?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah. We were together for about a year and a half... but she cheated on me that's why we broke up."
"Sorry to ask."
"It's alright. I got over it anyways."
Whoah, he's open.
"So, what did your mom say about the huge break up?"
He didn't reply quickly.
"My mom left me, my sister and dad when I was 6."
"I'm sorry. I really should stop asking."
"Really, it's fine with me." He smiled.
"Well... since you were so open. I think I should be open too." I said.
"Sure."
"My dad left us when I was still 2. I don't know what happened but he just left. Ever since, my mom served as my parent. Both for me and Perry. And as for Brendon, my bestest friend just told me he had a huge crush on me - since childhood. God, it was so awkward when I stayed with him. But we finally parted ways.." I thoroughly explained.
"What'd you say?"
"I said that he was just my friend.. and nothing more. I also told him to start going out with other girls. Speaking of which, he's having a date now." I smiled at the thought.
Back at the guy's dates in the movies...
Lyn's POV
I felt Ryan wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"The move, huh?" I giggled.
"Yup." He smiled back.

Brendon's POV
"Can I call you.. Kenny Bear if you won't mind?" I grinned.
"Sure! But why Kenny Bear?" Kendra blushed.
"'Cause. My friends.. sometimes, call me Brenny Bear." I smiled.
"Really? Cool!" She said being overjoyed.
"You're a very cool girl." I said holding Kendra's hand.
I think she just died from happiness.
Back at Starbucks. . .

"I think it's getting late." I said standing up.
"10 already? Time flies when you're having fun, huh?" He said standing up.
We both went out of the coffee shop.. TOGETHER.
"Thanks for the talk." I hugged him.
"Don't mention it." He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
I stared at him.
"Don't worry, this is part of the date. Oh yea, I'll take you home too." He grinned.
"Is that also part of the date?" I asked.
"Yep." He answered.
2nd best night of my life. I really need to get a head's start on this "date" thing.
