It Was ME, Myself and I, 'till then He Came

Off To Denver (Part 2)

Angela's POV

"How was your walk?" I asked Lyn.

"Fantaaastic." Lyn mocked.

"Really now? Then why are you holding your cheek?" Kendra asked.

Lyn turned red.

"Uh, it's cold out there." She reasoned.

"Right." Me and Kendra said as we munched on tarts.

"Mmm. Tarts. Lemme have some." Lyn smiled.

Kendra handed her some.

"Yum." She grinned as she nibbled on the tart.

Brendon then came in.

"I booked us all in some cottage-esque rooms." He grinned. "You guys should freshen up for awhile." He continued.

We nodded then grabbed the room keys. Brendon felt sorry for us so he helped us carry our luggage. What a nice kid.

As we reached our rooms, we just stared at it in awe.

"Ah, this is nice." We all said.

"Okay, you girls spazz while I go down to the bar. They said the drinks have different varieties." Brendon grinned.

"Sure, just don't get drunk, Urie." Me and Lyn teased.

"We'll just freshen up a bit then follow you after, k?" Kendra kissed him on the cheek.

With that, he left us girls.

Lyn quickly lied down on the feathery, soft bed. Me and Kendra decided to break the ice.

"Spill." We both said as we sat on the edge of her bed.

"Huh?" She innocently said.

"What did Ross tell you?"

"Nothing."

"We saw him talk to you!"

I heard her mumble a swear.

More like it.

"He just explained some crap about his ex." She grumbled.

"Please enlighten us." I smiled.

"You guys are creepy." She glared. "Anyway, he said that his ex kissed him first then he wasn't expecting her to visit him that day."

"Oh. So that was his ex."

"Guess so. I don't really care." She said as she opened the tv and started scanning through the channels.

"Any plans on mending your hearts?"

"I don't know. A part of me says give him a chance, but the other half says otherwise."

"Oh."

She didn't say anything after that. Her eyes were just glued on the Christmas Holiday Specials aired on the television.

"Uh, guys. I think we should go down and catch-up with the guys in the bar." Kendra said.

At the bar...

"Ah. The smell of liquor." I said, in a grossed-out tone.

"Hey!" Almost drunk Brendon signaled us to motion to where the guys were at.

"Er," I started, staring at my drunk friends.

"What the hell, Erika. You're drunk too." I said in shock.

"Yeeeaaahh." She slurred.

"How 'bout I'll show you our pretty room upstairs?" I offered her.

I don't want my drunk brother and friend to be close at this condition. No way.

Lyn's POV

I was left with Kendra and the other guys.

What the.

I stared at Ryan.

Funny, the dude's drunk. And he's smiling at my direction. Ew.

He got up from his seat then drunkenly sat down beside me. I hate myself for sitting beside a vacant chair.

"Heeyy." He slurred.

I could smell the freaking alcohol in his breath.

"Hi." I replied.

"Have you forgiven me now or what?" He tried kissing me.
