It Was ME, Myself and I, 'till then He Came

We went out skiing at around 10 in the morning.

“Shit. It’s too cold.” Brendon said.

Look at him. The poor boy’s shivering.

“Ow. My poor Brenny.” Kendra said and hugged him.

Why isn’t Jasper here?

Oh yeah. He’s in Canada.

Canada had to ruin everything.

Don’t get me wrong though.

I love it there.

We’ve been there a couple of times before.

“Angela!” Erika screamed.

“What?” I said in an aggravated tone.

Does she really need to scream?

Now we know who to blame when an avalanche happens.

“Start skiing!” She laughed. “You chicken?”

Oh she’s going down.

I then rushed through the snow.

Such wonderful snow!

Lyn’s POV

I was still in our room.

Staring blankly at the window.

I didn’t go out and ski unlike the others.

Though they begged me to go along with them.

I faked a headache.

I’m such a kill joy.

I wasn’t in any mood for amusement.

Nor was I into skiing.

I got bored staring at the walls and started going through my luggage.

“I brought too many.” I shrugged.

What’s keeping me this way?

I’ve unzipped and opened all the pockets.

I decided to go out and just get a drink or whatever.

When I lifted the luggage, I saw something shiny.

I picked it up and was taken aback.

“What the hell is this here?” I asked myself.

It was the present Ross gave me for my birthday.

A silver bracelet, with some light green stones on it.

It was the second best thing I’ve received for a gift.

The first was the necklace my grandmother gave me for Christmas a few years back. I wore it ever since.

I stared at the bracelet.

Just stared at it.

“This is stupid.” I said and just kept it in my pocket.

I went down to grab something to eat.

“Cheese Omelet, please.” I ordered.

After 10 minutes, what I ordered finally came.
They have real good service here.

It took me about 15 minutes to eat it together with my hot chocolate.

After, I went out to look at all the happy people playing in the snow.

I managed a smile.

I went around more and came to a place where no one was.

“I need to get back.” I said and turned around.

Is it me or is the temperature just getting lower?

While I was going back, I saw a figure.

It came closer and…

“It’s too cold.” I told myself and lied down on the icy white ground.

I was getting numb by the minute. I couldn’t feel anything.

“Lyn!” Someone called out.

Who is that?

“Wake up! A blizzard’s coming!” The voice said.

I know who this is.

“I wanna stay here.” I whispered.

The wind started getting stronger and the amount of snow was becoming heavier.

“We can’t! There’s a blizzard-“ He continued.

I was getting drowsier.

And I couldn’t hear anything.

I’d probably wake up soon.

It’s all a dream.

He wouldn’t take the time and tell me there’d be a blizzard.

Not if he was crazy and out of his mind.

Ryan would never do that.
