Greedy or Straight?
Remember I love you
I lay there whispering, I couldn’t live like this, I heard footsteps run towards me up the drive, I heard teddy talking to me, asking what’s wrong, the only words I could choke out where “He’s left me” Teddy seemed to catch on, he picked my small lifeless frame up into his big arms and carried me in and lay me down on the sofa, he paced up and down the living room, on his mobile phone, talking too someone on it.
I heard him say his name, he was talking to Ed
“Ed, what have you done, he’s a state, he won’t talk, he was lying on the doorstep, He’s lifeless Ed, please get back here and talk to him, before he does something stupid”
“Okay, see you then”
I kept my head down, just hoping Ed agreed, When I finally lifted my head up, I had a banging head ache, the none stop crying didn’t help, but then I was all out, all out of tears.
“Teds” I choked
“Yeah Alex?” he asked me looking concerned
“Is he coming” I said
I couldn’t let my self say his name, it hurts too much.
“Yeah Alex he is, but I’m not sure if he is staying” he said looking me in the eyes
I put my head back down and more tears began to escape my eyes.

I’ve been crying none stop for two hours, I can’t help it, and I’m hurting so much.
I heard muffled voices coming from the hallway, I didn’t lift my head, I was still curled up my head on my knees.
I felt the sofa next to me dip; I finally lifted my head up, he was there staring me in the eyes, I placed my head back on my knee’s, I felt his warm hand lift my head up, I couldn’t look at him.
He leant forward and placed his lips on mine, I didn’t respond, I didn’t move, he pulled back and I sucked my lips in.
“Alex I’m sorry” Ed said softly
“No Ed, I’m sorry” I replied
He leaned in and kissed my lips again
“but Alex, this doesn’t change anything, I’m still leaving” Ed said looking into my eyes
My heart sank, for the second time today!
I placed my head back into my knee’s I sobbed more, I then lifted my head slightly, I looked him in the eyes.
“Please Ed, stay?” I asked
He shook his head, I placed my head back down, he kissed the top of my head and whispered too me
“Take care Alex, and always remember, I love you”
He stood up and walked away
“please Ed don’t go” I shouted
He just carried on walking, I stood up and ran to the kitchen, I got a knife, and slashed up my arm, I deserved it, I broke his heart, I didn’t know any other way to punish my self, I walked to the front door, too see his car pull out of the drive.
Teddy ran to me, he grabbed my arm, his eyes widened.
