Cricket is popular?!
So now I’m officially Adam’s girlfriend! Life could not be better! Unless I was Alex’s girlfriend… wait what am I thinking!? Adam is perfect and awesome and I am completely happy. Lalalalala, just tuning out the voice in my head! Lalalalala!
Good thing tonight is Friday which means a football game and a party! Annnnd, Best Friend for Life time with Lanie! BFFL time started way back when and we would blast poppy, girly songs and dance around and give each other makeovers. Now, we still dance around to the music and give each other makeovers, but now it’s so we can look hot when we go out! So, now it’s 5:30 on Friday and Lanie and I are in my room getting ready.
“HEY NOW, HEY NOW THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!” Alex, Jack, and Zack heard Cricket and Lanie singing at the top of their lungs while music pounded throughout the house.
“What are they doing up there?” Jack asked looking very intrigued, which was not good.
“BFFL time, remember?” Zack said.
“Well, we should go check it out, it’s Lizzie Mcguire. I love that girl!” Jack said heading for the Cricket’s room. Alex followed.
Cricket was on the bed in boy shorts and a t-shirt pretending to be Lizzie Mcguire, while Lanie was in a bra and jeans doing her makeup and singing too.
“Hey! It’s Homecoming tonight! You all should come!” Cricket yelled over the music and jumping around on the bed. Her cheeks were flushed pink from exertion and excitement and her chestnut hair was spilling over her shoulders and her hazely-green eyes were bright, she looked really pretty Alex could not help but thinking. He also couldn’t help but think that Lanie had gotten hot too, but not in the girl next door way like Cricket, more like porn star hot. Lanie had long pale gold hair and emerald eyes, and huge boobs, which was very obvious because she was just in a bra. Lanie used to be obnoxious and chatty, and really blunt. She also didn’t have boobs.
“Hey, the boys are back!” Lanie said with a sultry smile, “Good to see ya’all again.”
“You are seriously going to the game tonight?” Zack asked, sounding a little disgusted.
“Everyone who’s anyone is going to be there, so yes, we will be at the game.” Lanie said laughing.
“Cuz we are important people.” Cricket said with a laugh too.
“Oh God, you’re in Student Council aren’t you! You’re one of them! The populars who don’t talk to anyone else, aren’t you! Answer me dammit!” Jack said dramatically.
“Um, yeah.” Cricket said sounding confused and laughing at Jack. “Wait no! I mean, yeah, we’re in StuCo, but I talk to everyone, do you remember who you’re talking to? Anyway, I’ve been StuCo two years, why are you freaking out now?”
“I didn’t know!” Zack wailed. “I failed you! You’re one of them!”
“Zack, don’t be a dumb ass.” Lanie said shaking her head. So, she was still ridiculously blunt.
“Why do you care Zack? I’m having fun! Why can’t I have my own life, why do I have to be just like you?” Cricket said angrily putting her hands on her hips, she was just getting started. Who knew Cricket would get so fierce.
“Um, I don’t know.” Zack said scratching the back of his head in defeat, and then tactfully changed the subject. “Why aren’t you going with Adam?”
“Hoes over bros!” Cricket said smiling, disaster averted.
“Chicks over dicks!” Lanie said laughing too.
“So, are you two partying tonight?” Alex asked.
“Duh, we’re not twelve.” Lanie said rolling her eyes, “And Zack, don’t even start that annoying protective brother bullshit. I remember what you guys were like in high school.” She said raising her eyebrow and pointing her index finger at Zack. Then, she laughed.
“It’s gonna be off the chain!” Cricket said pretending to be a gangster, and failing horribly I might add, but that was the point.
“Maybe we’ll crash tonight.” Alex said raising an eyebrow suggestively and laughing at Cricket. Cricket couldn’t help but turn bright red.
“Oh my God, Taylor Jackson would die of happiness!” Lanie laughed, “She thinks she’s the shit and she would think you all came because you looove her!”
Me thinks I smell some drama on the horizon? Maybe, I thinks so!

Total filler, sorry! But ya'all needed some background on Lanie and to meet her! Next time will be filled with drama! (I think!) And don't tell me ya'all didn't love the Lizzie McGuire cameo!
