The three of us jumped! Mia in the middle. She’s an amazing girl. She’s different. She’s unusual. Mikey thinks she’s pretty.
I’ve grown closer to Mia.
I knew she was special from the first time I met her. She was different. Unique. Special.
I took a beating for her. I ended up in hospital. But her father had abused her for too long. It was worth it to save poor Mia from that.
She turned and buried her face into my chest. I wrapped my arms tightly around her. Alicia joined in and I felt her squeeze my hips.
“Justice, girls! Justice!” I muttered.
