Cause I'm Five Minutes Older

No Longer Present.

He came back the next day. Feeding me something it made everything in the room move. I was seeing things. He made me drink a bottle of strong clear liquid. I didn't really understand what happened when I woke up sometime later, but my head hurt and I had more injuries then before. Scratch marks down my thighs and back, a few bite marks in odd places. I was confused.
He came back seven more times. I don’t know the time span in which he did so, but he always brought the things that messed up my head after a few times I was addicted to them. I longed to have my brain melt away so I didn't know what was happening. I forgot who I was. All a did without them was stare at the screen of the TV.
They only talked about a missing girl. I laughed wondering where she was. Was she dead? They showed a picture of him. The one who brought the crazy pills to me. They where looking for him. The TV turned off.
“You don’t need to see that, sweetheart.” He dropped a bag of white powder in front of me. I grabbed at it fast. I inhaled it all. Everything was dazed, blurry. I still could feel it when he started beating me. I felt the blood come out of my nose when he punched me. Every kick, every crack, I felt it all, but I would just stare at the wall. The pretty colors. He yelled at me the whole time. He liked me weak when he needed his pleasures so I wouldn't fight back. He stopped beating, gave me another bag and as it disappeared so did his clothes. He got right to the chase. He was done with the first round fast. Waited for a half hour. Then started again. I passed out not long after.

I woke up to bright lights flashing around. “Found her! Whoa!” I opened my eyes a man in dark clothes took off his jacket and put it on my naked body. “We need metal cutters! Now!” Minutes later there was a cutting noise. The man helped me to my feet, I couldn't stand. I fell down. “Norris, Porcini carry her up. Be careful she’s only wearing my jacket. A man and a woman carried me out making sure nothing personal of mine was shown. There where to many flashing lights. My eyes burned.
“Make the lights stop.” I mumbled over and over. The near by voices yelled at the lights. They stopped. They put me in a vehicle with a bed. People looked me over as it moved. I hummed and stared at the ceiling. I fell asleep.

“Here she is.” I heard the gasps. “She, as you can tell, is in really bad shape. We have lots of horrible news. The only good thing is that she’s alive.” I heard some shuffling and sobbing. “She won’t remember anything, we gave her something to forget most of the last month. He had her on some hard drugs, she’s going to have to be in rehab for sometime. She’s broken in pieces. Some reconstruction surgery will be needed. We did a rape test and… it was positive. She’ll need a lot of therapy. She’ll have some mental problems. She’ll slowly go back to normal with lots of help and time. It’d be best if no one talks to her about what happened. She needs to forget.” I just stayed still my eyes where open. “Oh look she’s awake.” People where looking at me. Strangers. They where crying. “Good morning, Abigail. How are you feeling?” I opened my mouth to speak. It was too dry. A little squeak came out instead of words. I looked at the people again. There was one boy who looked beat up. The mess of curls on his head tangled. His eyes red and tired. His body shaking as he felt pain, lots of pain. I felt I knew him from some where. I felt connected to him. Love. I love him, but who is he? I tried to ask him. He stood up and walked toward me. He took my hand.
“You don’t remember me do you?” His voice sounded so lovely. I half smiled and I shook my head. “I’m Nick.” Nick, I smiled at Nick. Everyone stood up and told Nick they’d let us be alone for awhile. I figured Nick was someone close to me. “I’ll take care of you, Abb. Don’t worry.” He rubbed his hand up my arm. I really wanted to know who he was to me. Before I did something stupid.

“And here’s where you’ll be staying, Abigail.” The woman in white clothes told me. I smelt something in the air. I followed the smell it was the pills. On the cart left unguarded. I took them in to my hands and swallowed two before they got to me and took them away. She took me back to my room. I got there as they started working, she locked me in. I sat on the bed looked up at the ceiling at the colors and chewed on my hand. My door opened and Nick came in. They shut the door behind him. I smiled and waved. He did the same back and sat on my bed facing me. I moved closer and touched his hair it was bouncy. I kept feeling it.
“How are you?” He asked smiling. I put my finger on his lips. I moved closer to him. Replaced my finger with my lips. I pushed him down on the bed. I wouldn't let him get away cause I love him. I straddled him and started kissing him again. He tried to push me away. I started unbuttoning his shirt. “Abbi stop.” I didn't want to, he would run away. I pulled it off. He put his arms around me and pulled me off of him. Sternly spoke. “Abbi you can’t do that.” He got up and walked away towards the door.
“Why don’t you love me?” I yelled before he closed the door behind him. I cried no one loved me anymore. The door opened again. Another guy came in he was at the hospital too. He looked kind of like Nick, but older. He pulled a chair up.
“Hi, Abbi. I’m your brother Kevin. Nick’s your brother too.” I turned around refusing to listen. I love Nick. He can’t be my brother. I shook my head no. “Nick is your twin brother. You have deep bonds. You can’t kiss him.” We sat in silence for a while. “He loves you in a different way. He doesn't love you like I love Danielle. He doesn't want you to take off his clothes. I know your hormones are all over the place right now, but you can’t just hop right on the first guy who walks up, okay?” I nodded and turned back.
“Who’s Danielle?” I asked. His mouth gaped.
“I didn't think you could talk anymore! Oh, Danielle is my fiancee.”
“Is she pretty?” He smiled at the thought of her. He nodded.
“You’d like her, Abbi.” He said to me rustling my hair. My hair.

His finger’s pulled through my hair ripping a chunk out in his hand. I screamed in pain. “Shut up, you little bitch!”

“Abbi, Abbi calm down!” Kevin was holding my shoulders to keep me steady. I blinked, but the man’s face was behind my eyes. I crawled to the floor and curled into a ball. The mattress, to me looked bloody and torn and stained, I knew this from somewhere.
“What happened to me, Kevin?” He bit his lip hard. This I knew he wasn't supposed to talk about. I wanted to know. “Please.” I pleaded.
