Cause I'm Five Minutes Older

The car pulls into a driveway I have never seen. It’s clear to me that this will be home.
“Welcome Home, Abbi!” Joe whispered to me. I smiled this is home. My family and I are together finally. Climbing out of the car I walked toward the house in aw. It was beautiful. That’s all I could say about it. Nick motioned me to follow him to the house. He punched a code into a panel and shoved a key into the lock. The door opened and the inside was even better. He lead me up the stairs and passed a few doors. Stopping he waited for me to open this door and when I did the sight was magnificent.
“Это удивительно!” I told him. He smiled at our language. Well it’s not really ours. It’s Russian. Joe trips though the door carrying two suit cases. He sets them in the center of the room.
“Hurry and un pack. We need to hang out.” Joe ordered.
“Okay see you guys in a bit.” I rely in shoving the two out of my room. Before even thinking about unpacking I took in my room. The belongings I had shipped over here days ago had been taken out of the boxes and placed on shelve in a way I would have. The bed was made and huge with fluffy cloud like pillows. It was a dream. I started to unpack. This whole process took awhile. Mostly because I got lost in my closet. Mother went shopping for me. It was a little crazy in there. I changed and showered while I had the chance I didn’t know where my brothers would be dragging me. I met up with Maya at my door and we walked down stairs to the boys.
“We’re ready.” I announce. They get up off the couch and we head out the door. After climbing into the car we head out. We had the radio on and Maya and I where singing to Leona Luis’s bleeding love. Then my phone rang a familiar short tone.
I opened my phone to a new text from Jake.
Jake (12: 03 pm):
Hey Beautiful
Nick was looking over my shoulder at the text.
“Who’s Jake?” He asked.
“My friend.” I replied and shut my phone ignoring the text. But it kept ringing in a multitude of rings. Like everyone learned I got off a plane and they had to all get a hold of me at once.
“Holy crap Abs your phone rings a lot!” Joe says turning around to look at me in the backseat.
“Yeah it-” Nick was cut off by another call I continued to ignore. I looked at who was calling and it seems all of my friends from Jersey must have learned I was leaving for good. I said by to them when I left, but pictures of me had popped up with the Jonas Brothers they must be really confused. My phone rang and I let it ring out this really annoying ring tone. Selena, I pushed ignore once again.
“Did you just ignore Selena?” Nick asked.
“Yes 8 times out of 10 I do that.”
“You are going to call her back.”
“No, I am not.”
“I’ll make you.”
“I don’t take orders from my younger siblings.”
“Can you two stop? Nick, if she doesn’t want to talk to your girlfriend she doesn’t have to.” Kevin said as he parked his car and we all got out. “Where to first?”
“How about lunch I’m hungry?” Joe replied and without waiting started towards the outdoor seating at a restaurant. Shaking our heads we hurried to catch up. Shortly after we take a seat a waiter comes to the table.
“Hello I’m Tracy. I’ll be your server this after noon. How may I- oh my god. Sorry. What would you like today, Joe Jonas?” She was fanning herself with her notebook like Joe was creating a heat wave only she could feel. We ordered and ate lunch. Then went to a couple stores. I was looking at a dress when someone bumped into me. I looked up to see a really cute guy. He smiled at me.
“I’m so sorry.“ He said as I grinned at him. We started talking. Well more like I was flirting and Nick gave him a look. An obvious step away or I’ll kill you with my bare hands. I stormed out of the store. The family came trekking after me. I waited outside the car and it unlocked and pulled myself in angrily.
“Nick why, for heaven’s sake, do you have to do that? It’s embarrassing.” I semi-yell when everyone is in and the door are locked.
“I don’t want you to get hurt-” I cut Nick off. He can’t bring that up.
“I’m a big girl Nick.”
“Well I was just trying to-”
“Can you two shut up, please.” Kevin silenced us. The rest of the ride home was quiet. Not a word was spoken.
