Black And Blue

It was the next day and I was looking for a job. Well actually we all were, but we did split up all on our own. Though Terran got the car that lucky duck!
So any way I had just went into a bar to see if there were any job openings. I saw a guy sweeping the floor and went up to him.
"Um...excure me sir" I asked
"Yes" he said turning around
"May I speak to the manager?"
"Your looking at him." The man was about in his mid 30's. tall with blonde hair and green eyes.
"Oh. well are there any job openings?"
"Yes there are. You interested?"
"Yes please"
"Alright then I will get you an application"
"Thank you sir"
"Please call me Andy, Sir makes me feel old"
"Oh sorry"
"Its fine" About a minute later he came back with a paper in his hand "Fill this out please and then give it back"
So I filled out the paper. Just questions like 'how old' 'name' 'birthday' 'have you ever worked in a bar' 'past jobs' and so on.
"Here you are Andy, all done" I said handing him the paper back
"Thanks...Ava" he said looking at the application "From the looks of it I think you would do good here. When can you start?"
"Today if you want"
"Perfect. Your sift starts at seven if thats alright"
"Yeah thats fine"
"Alright so you can work monday through friday from 7 to closing ok?"
"Thats perfect"
"Alright well then I will see you tonight"
"Alright and thanks again Andy"
When I got home Jackie and Terran were already home.
"So did you find a job?" Jackie said looking at me.
"You bet!"
"Ah man! I'm I the only one who didn't?" she asked
"Yes" both me and Terran said
"You better find one soon. we need all the money we can get if we want to stay here"I said
"I know I know!"
"Wait I have an idea!"
"What?"
"What if I ask Andy tonight if you can work at the bar too!"
"Please try!" she begged
"I will!"
that night at the bar business was pretty good. I was still trying to get use to every thing there though, after all I was new!
it was around 9 when three guys walked in and sat infront of the bar I was working at.
"Hi, I'm Matt. and you are?" said a tall guy with what looked like dirty blonde hair.
"Ava"
"Are you new around here? Cause we sure never seen ya here before" said another guy who was shorter than the rest.
"Yeah. Just started today"
"Thats cool, Oh I'm Lee by the way"
"And I'm Curtis" Said the other one
"Hi. So can I get you guys any thing to drink?"
"Beer" they all said together
"Alright" soon I gave them all there beers and they started talking amongst each other when.
"Hey Ava" Said Curtis
"Yeah"
"Do you know Oli?"
"Wait are you the Curtis that lives across the street from us?"
"Did you move in yesterday?"
"Yeah"
"Then why yes I am"
"Well then I probably do know Oli if he has a lot of tattoos"
"Yup thats Oli alright"
"So what about him"
"Nothin really, just askin"
"Alright"
"But wait Ava"
"Since its dark you want a ride home. It can get danger ous at night"
"Yeah that would be great if its not a problem"
"None at all"
"Thanks"
"HEY AVA CLOSING TIME!" I heard Andy yell about half an hour later
"Alright Andy!"
We finished closing up and Curtis was still there
the others had already left though
"Ready to go?" Curtis asked
"Almost I have to quickly ask andy some thing"
"Alright no need to rush" he said with a smile
I quickly asked Andy if he would let Jackie work and he told me to bring her back tomorrow
I quickly thanked him and ran out to Curtis
"Ok I'm ready" I said
we both got into the car and drove back to my house
"Thanks for the ride home Curtis"
"No problem. If you want I could do this more often becuase me and the guys go there almost every night when we're not workin"
"O thanks that really would be great, but you don't have to. My friend Jackie will be working there with me soon so I'll have her to walk with"
"Well I can drive you both if you'd like"
"Alright. well night Curtis"
"Night Ava"
and he drove off
