Silence Is The Past

Mr Smith's pov

I sat next to her, her hand in mine as I watched her fall asleep deeply, Rice watched from a distance and then coughed slightly to get my attention,

"Mr Smith, you said she was your girlfriend, is she?" she asked,

"Um...I feel like she is but theres a few years between us so I don't know what she thinks" I said looking back at Crystal,

"I don't know why she would say no your a great guy" she said stepping a little closer,

I looked at her and smiled,

"Aww thanks Rice"

"No I mean it you are a great guy" she said again and got closer,

"Ok I believe you" I said confussed a little,

she got so close that she was standing right infront of me, she took my other hand and made me stand up, my hand left Crystals and she wrapped it around her,

"What are you doing?" I said confussed,

"What do you think I'm doing?" she said back looking into my eyes with wonder and confidence,

she leant towards me and noticed I was much taller then her, she walked with me still attached to her and pushed me onto a comfortable chair, she sat on my laps and placed her hands on my shoulders,

"Um..." I said but she stopped me by placing a finger on my mouth,

"Don't say a word" she said stroking my face gently,

she moved her face closer to mine and smiled, I looked at her eyes and then her lips and then her eyes again, she smiled even more and then pressed her lips onto mine, we sat there kissing, her tongue sliding in my mouth now and then, I didn't enjoy it but I couldn't stop it, she started to kiss me harder and then a gasp stopped her, she pulled away and I looked, Crystal had woken up and tears where trailing down her face,

"Baby I didn't want too" I said trying to get up but Rice had pinned me to the chair,

Crystal got up and ran out of the room, I turned to Rice and she went to kiss me again, I stopped her and pushed her off me quite hard but not hard enough to hurt her and ran after Crystal, Rice was fumming with rage when I left the room. I searched for Crystal everywhere but I couldn't find her, I got to the garden and walked slowly out, the night sky was sparkling with all of the stars, I saw a big old oak tree and it had a bench under it, I walked over to it and sat there, I felt so bad I didn't want to kiss Rice I didn't like her I loved Crystal,

"What have I done?, I love Crystal so much and I don't know where she is to tell her, I didn't want to kiss Rice I wouldn't want to, I'm in love with the most amazing girl ever and I've lost her for good" I said to myself in guilt and shame,

"I'm not amazing if your talking about me" a voice spoke out,

I looked up and around but I couldn't see anyone, I stood up and looked around the oak tree but no one was there, I sat back down and sighed deeply,

"Crystal I didn't mean to kiss her, I didn't want to I promise you baby I do" I said to the voice, I didn't know if it was Crystal but I said it anyway,

Crystal then suddenly walked out from behind a bush, I looked up at her and smiled, she smiled back her beautiful smile and stood there,

"If you didn't mean to then why didn't you stop her?" she said in her most gentle voice,

"She pinned me to the chair baby, I would have stopped her but I couldn't" I said and then looked to the floor,

her footsteps got louder as she walked towards me I was still looking at the floor, I felt her hand on my chin and then she started to gently lift it to look at her, a tear fell from her eye and then a tear fell from mine, I placed my hand on hers that was under my chin and moved it from there, I held it in mid air and then she sat down next to me,

"I love you only baby" I said still holding her hand and gazing into her eyes,

"And I love only you too baby" she said back,

I moved her closer to me by wrapping my other arm round her waist and sliding her across the bench, she was right next to me now and she wrapped her arm around my back, I gazed into her eyes, they sparkled with the stars and gently kissed her, she didn't pull away and I was so happy to be with her again then it went down hill Rice had found us and was stormingly running towards us, we both looked and saw her I stood up infront of Crystal to protect her and Rice ran into me, she pushed her lips onto mine again and made me fall to the floor, her tongue running around my mouth once again, Crystal just sat there and watched, she knew I didn't want to do this and I would stop Rice, I pushed Rice away again and she stumbled, I stood up and grabbed Crystal,

"Lets get out of here yeah?" I said smiling at her,

"Um.. that sounds good" she said back with a smile on her face,

we started to run, we got to the house and bundled into it, the old man we met earlier was shocked when we got in, I turned a closed the door shut and then turned to him,

"Don't let her in please"

he nodded with shock still on his face and then we started running again. We got to the sitting room we were in before and quickly found the kitten in the basket, we both looked at each other and then took it, we ran to the front door and out into the cold darkness, we heard screaming behind us for a while but then it stopped.

Crystals pov

We had taken the basket with the kitten in and was hiding in the dark, I placed my hand in the basket and started gently stroking the kitten so it could feel save, it calmed down eventually and started purring quietly,

"She likes you" Mr Smith said smiling at me,

"She does?" I said back at Mr Smith,

"Yep you'd make a very good mum" he said suddenly,

I looked up at him and he was smiling, I smiled back and then looked around in the basket,

"Oh theres a top in here" I said finding one,

"Oh it's properly the kittens" he said back,

"No she's not using it, you wear it, it looks your size" I said gently pulling it out,

I handed it to Mr Smith and he tried it on, it fitted him just right, I looked back in the basket and I saw the kitten had snuggled into the ruffled pieces of clothing,

"Aww she's falling asleep" I said gently,

"She will, she's been through a lot today, just like you" he said standing right infront of me,

"Oh I'm ok, your the one whos been dooing all the running" I said looking up at him,

"Your not ok, your shivering cold, you eyes are red from crying and staying up and you tired" he said pointing out all the things that were wrong with me,

I smiled at him and then sat down on the cold grass, I layed the basket next to me and layed down on my back, Mr Smith layed next to me and snuggled me into him,

"I love you Crystal Moore" he whispered in my ear,

"And I love you too Mr Smith" I whispered back before I fell asleep on his shoulder,

I felt him move me just before so I was laying across his lap with his arm around me.
