The Immortal World's Saviors

The Window

"Here." Shane's palm was right at my side as the we stopped running right infront of the old house that I once called home, if that ever.

"Are you sure you want to be alone?" Daniel asked with a hand on my shoulder as I retrieved the familar key in my hand. "You need to keep your emotions in check, you just awoke. Understood?"

"Yes." I nodded and made my way at human pace towards the door.

"Later, Baby." They all whispered and disappeared from sight.

My feet didn't make a sound as they walked on the pavement. Noise from inside told me that only three people were in the house. My brother, sister, and the human woman, Simone. Very gently, I slid the key into the key whole with a slight tremble. The door, like always, gave a small squeek as a gust of wind pushed it open.

"Hallo?" Simone called out as she walked by with a large tray with some food on it. Once her eyes landed on me, the heavy looking tray slipped through her grasp and came crashing through her hands.

"Simone?" A low voice and girl voice called out as they rushed from the living room to check on her.

"Kitzia." The poor woman stuttered as she ran to me with a shriek of happiness.

"Kitzia!" The two older versions of my brothers ran to me right behind her.

They all crashed into me, making me almost loose my footing. Tears and sobs all crashed onto me from all of them. Not having much of an option, I gave them a bone crushing hug. "I missed you!" I now sobbed, my emotional side now taking over.

"You have awaken!" Simone sobbed.

"You are eighteen now," my brother said as he and my sister stepped back from me.

"Are you scared of me?" I asked hurt as I watched them back away even more.

"No." My brave brother, who now stood to directly look me in the eye.

"Just can't believe that you are...ALIVE!" My sister ran to me with drama filled sobs.

"Oh mein gott." Simone and I sighed as we held the girl in our arms.

"How long have been Awaken?" My brother asked as he now stood at my side.

Not lifting my eyes from my sister, tears filled my eyes once again. She looked just like my mother, my brother now like my father ever so more. "A day. I ran all the way here."

"We should tell Bill and Tom." Simone smiled as she wiped away all her tears from her red face that blended into her hair.

"They don't live here anymore?" I asked wiping my sister's tears away as she finally stopped sobbing.

"Nein." Simone shook her head. "They bought a large mansion on the other side of town a few months ago. Said that they couldn't bare to live here with all the memories of you."

"Do they live alone?" I asked now wiping my tears away, staring at my hand as I saw that they weren't tears of salt water, but blood.

"Here." My bother handed me a tissue box, "You are going to have to get used to blood tears, you no longer tear like a human."

"That sucks." I mumbled as I wipped the blood off of my face.

"Yes." Simone told me as she headed towards the phone, "But Georg and Gustav sometimes spend the night there."

"What are you doing?" My sister asked.

"I'm going to call them." She told me with a big smile, "They will be so happy to know that you are back."

The next fraction of a second, I stood right infront of her. My hand on the phone, I pulled it away from her, "Don't tell them I'm here. Let them find out on their own. " I smiled with my six fangs out in the open.

"Yeah!" My sister cheered. "Make it sound like an emergency."

"Like someone had died or something." My brother smirked.

"No." I shook my head. "Tell me where they live." Placing my hand on her head, I saw where they live.

"Later." I whispered with a nod as I disappeared the very next second.

Following what I had seen in her head, I jumped roof to roof, tree to tree, building to building at speeds not known to man. The cold winter breeze and chill felt good on my skin. I felt alive for once, like my body could finally breathe. A shrill of joy escaped my lips as I fell thirty storys to land on a tree like a feather. "No more horseplay." I told myself as I perched on the tree. "Have to get there in one piece and day."

With that, I took off with total concentration towards the large mansion that both twins lived on. Like I had expected, a large and really tall fence bordered around the estate and a guard stood at the only entrace. Leaning against the steel polls of the fence I looked forward to the house that laid hundreds of yards away, but with my newly keen eyes, I could see it as if it were standing right before me.

"Let's get the show on the road." I smirked to myself as I jumped up and over the fence. "Damn." I whispered in amazement. "Didn't know I was that good."

I ran all the way to the house and pounced on the wall. Like a spider, I crawled and looked through the windows of their home. I could see a black kitchen, but a faint light coming from the other side. Is that where they are, I asked myself mentally. Crawling at a faster pace, I made it over to the other side, the light had come from not the first floor, but on the third floor of this place. Climbing up, I felt like Spiderman. Surpassing the chuckle, I finally stopped at a window.

Peering inside............
