"How do you mean?"
"I think you're paying too much attention to other people."
"I still don't get you."
"You wouldn't. You're not seeing this from my point of view."
"I don't think that I'm doing anything wrong."
"Like I said, you wouldn't."
"I'm just being nice to people."
"I know you are, but you're being too nice."
"Now you're really not making any sense."
"You're being fake!"
"There's no need for that!"
"Well, that's not how you act around friends that you've known for ages, is it? You put on an image to make an impression."
"And? I just don't want to get on anyone's bad sides."
"But one day they'll find out who you really are. You can't keep an image forever. Cracks start to show."
"But I'm not putting on an image!"
"You're not acting right, either."
"Well, neither are you."
"How am I not acting right?"
"You're quieter. You never used to be so quiet."
"That's because there are a lot of things going on in my life right now, but you're not noticing because you're too busy with people you've only known for a month."
"But you know how I am. I don't have to be perfect around you."
"If that's a way to say that you don't think that you have to be nice to us because we already know how you are, then you're wrong. You treat us badly and we won't be around for much longer. I'm getting fed up of it. Stop putting on an image."
"I didn't think I was."
"You're being someone that you're not."
"I'm just acting in the right way."
"You can't be nice to everyone. People will know that you're not being true."
"I just don't want to appear nasty to anyone."
"I'm just being myself. That way, you find friends who like you for who you are, not for who you're trying to be."
"Yeah, but they're rare people."
"I know they are. But you have one. And if you're not careful you'll loose her."
"I don't want that to happen."
"Neither do I."
"But how do I know she's for real?"
"I can safely say that she is."
"And how would you know?"
"Because she's me. And you're my best friend. Let's not ruin this."
"How do you mean?"

The conversation just continues on from the last one. I'm writing this for a change, as I don't usually write in dialogue only. But this is quite fun! I just wish more people would read/review.
