He Saved Me, Loved Me, Wanted Me

X.

I stood, leaning in to Brian’s shoulder, the verge of sleep coming on strong as he talked to the people around us. “The striped Schechter needs dropped down to D,” Brian told one of the twins. I wasn’t paying attention. My arms were crossed and my eyes closed as I leaned into Brian more. His arm wrapped around my shoulders.

“Do you think the corset top is okay for her?” Val asked Gena in another conversation.

“Her boobs would prolly fall out of that thing,” Zacky’s voice said, the muffled sounds of music following him.

“Zack, shut up,” It was Gena, “Well, we’ve already got it ready for her to change into. We can‘t pull it that tight though,” Gena said.

Noooooo… I wanted to stay, where I could sleep. Damn jet lag.

“Aww, look,” Val’s voice cooed.

Gena softly laughed, then gasped.

“O my God! You’re showing already?!” I was a new, sort of familiar female voice, piercing through my thoughts. My eyes snapped open to meet the familiar gorgeous face of Leana. The day of my welcome home party from the hospital she was there, and the day of us leaving she was there. I hadn’t seen her since.

“What?” I asked, standing straight up. Lacey and Michelle followed behind her.

“I didn’t know you guys were coming to New York!” Val said, hugging her sister.

“Leana!” Jimmy nearly yelled, running over to his wife and picking her up, twirling her around before he set her down on the ground and kissed her. I smiled at this. Seeing coupled like them always made me smile. Just their height difference made them even cuter. Lacey and Johnny were in a strong embrace as Michelle greeted everyone.

“Hi, Ana!” Michelle said, pulling me into the hug. I smiled.

“Hi.”

“You look really tired.” I nodded.

“I am.” Michelle smiled at me and greeted Brian with a hug.

“Now how come you’re showing already? Jimmy said you’re like… two months pregnant?” Leana asked. I smiled, stuffing my hands in my pocket, which rolled my long sleeves up a bit.

“I’m not showing, though some think I am. I’ve just gained weight. A lot, at that. My appetite has grown. I've gotten fatter.” I pulled out the half eaten, crumpled bad of Famous Amos cookies from my pocket, showing her.

“Oh wow, I love those,” she said.

“As do I,” I responded. “And I really love them right now.” I shoved a couple cookies into my mouth.

“When did you guys get in?” Brian asked.

“Not that long ago,” Lacey said, still attached to Johnny. They were gorgeous together. I smiled at them; the urge to sleep resided since Leana’s initial outburst. The girl scared the shit out of me.

“We’ll… be right back,” Jimmy said, tugging along Leana.

“Where are you going?” I asked, my mouth still full.

“We… are going to consummate our marriage,” Leana told me as her and Jimmy stopped.

“For the ten thousandth time,” Brian laughed.

“Yup,” Jimmy said, finally pulling Leana successfully out of the room.

“Use a rubber!” Johnny yelled out to the couple. I laughed and leaned my head on Brian’s shoulder, wrapping my arms around his waist.

“You two are so cute,” Michelle cooed, looking at us thoughtfully. This made me smile, especially since it was coming from an ex of his. “So who’s going to be the Maid of Honor?”

My eyes widened, I hadn’t even thought of it. Well, the thought of wedding plans period hadn’t crossed my mind. The boys from MCR casually walked in. Gerard stopped when he noticed the people who had came in.

“Who’re they… and where’s Rev?” Gerard asked, holding a bottle of water. “And why aren’t you ready?” he pointed to me.

“This is Michelle and Lacey,” Brian said, pointing at said people.

“I’m not ready because Gena and Valary haven’t decided what I’m going to wear,” I said.

“Did you just call me Valary?” Val asked? I giggled.

“Yep,” I told her, then shoving my face in Brian’s chest. Colonel Sanders got our attention, and then showed us what was written on his paper.

‘What time is it? I can’t find my phone.’

There were no clocks on the walls either.

“Seven thirty,” Val said. The concert started in half an hour. MCR were to go first, then A7X would go on after them, so I had a good while to get ready anyhow.

----

“What are your intentions with Brian?” Michelle asked, sitting beside me. A smile tugged at her lips as I smoothed out the red circle dress on my frame. Truth be told, it didn’t fit like it used to. It was tight and uncomfortable. For some reason, I sensed the girls would take me shopping… happy happy, joy joy. Fuck my life.

I laughed. “I intend on marrying him,” I told her confidently.

“’Shell, stop badgering the poor girl,” Leana had said, “I think you two make for an amazing couple.”

“Thank you,” I said.

Leana studied me for a moment, then stood up, licked her fingers, and before she could do anything…

“Lee, don’t you do it.” Gena warned.

“Why? I’m just going to sex it up a bit.” This caused the three other girls, plus myself to laugh.

“I spent an hour on that!” Gena said.

“An hour? Really… Gena, you over do it babe,” Lacey spoke up.

“Finally! I’ve been saying that!” I said with a laugh.

“Oh, posh,” Leana said, pulling out a few strands of hair with her fingertips to frame my face. “There,” she said with an adorable smile.

“Thank you,” I said, rolling my eyes.

“I still can’t believe you cut your hair,” Gena said.

“Oh, Gena. You’ll get over it,” Val said, “I think it’s cute.”

“I concur,” Lacey said with a smile.

“Avenged… SEVENFOLD!” Gerard’s voice came to us.

“That’s our cue,” Val said, standing up. We all followed her lead and passed the MCR boys as we made our way to the back stage area.

The organs of Critical Acclaim started up, followed by Brian’s singled notes on the guitar. I smiled, watching him play in front of my piano. I sighed. I missed that piano so much. I missed everyone so much, really.

After the last chord of Critical Acclaim ended, Colonel Sanders spoke up.

“How are you all fucking doing tonight?” he asked. The crowd cheered. I missed the excitement of this scene also. The guys seemed extremely happy, they were acting as if nothing at all could ail them, and I guess this was all the work of us girls. Or as Val’s told me before, ‘the girls of Avenged.’

She’s right.

The next song was Lost, starting out with Brian’s lead, mixed in with Zack’s backing. It was amazing as they dueled side by side. I couldn’t get enough watching them play. After Afterlife, Unholy Confessions, Remissions and Lips of Deceit, the Colonel paused again to talk to the crowd.

“I have a very special fucking treat for all you tonight!” Pause. “For the last two months, something devastating happened to the Avenged family.” The girls all put their hands on my shoulders in a soothing manner. “We lost one of our members, the great Miss Destruction, and tonight, she’s back.” The crowed cheered, obviously having heard of me. It felt good. I was wanted. I relished in the fact.

“Destruction! Destruction! Destruction!” the crowd screamed.

“So, Miss Destruction, come on out and show us what you’ve got.”

I walked out from behind the curtains. The last time I was on stage, Brian proposed to me. I walked up to Brian, giving him a hug and a kiss.

“Hey, where’s mine?” Colonel Sanders joked. I laughed and kissed him on the cheek.

“I love you,” Brian said with a big shit eating grin on his face.

“Love you too, Bri,” I said, giving a smile back.

Warmness on the Soul,” CS said. I started playing, getting lost in the moment once again.
