"Why are there so many people here?" Pete asked. I tried not to meet Ryan's eyes, but it was inevitable. His eyes met mine, and my chest hurt. I looked away.

"I'll go," Ryan said getting up. I wanted to stop him from going, but I was stuck in place. I snapped out of my daze.

"Okay guys let's go." Dan had my notebook and handed it to me.
"Thank buddy."

I opened it up to the page I liked the most.

"Here, these are the lyrics."

I told them the lyrics and we figured out the chords. It is best to say we spent the whole night practicing all new songs for our album. Shannon had retired early, claiming she knew all the parts she needed too. Ingrid was the next one to leave halfway through the night. She brought pages of all the chords though, so I felt better when she left. Brendon was there supporting us.

"Hey Bren," I said while Dan and Pete were listening to some recordings.

"Yeah," He was sitting down, so I sat down next to him.

"Can you do me a favor?"

"It depends."

"I want to perform a new cover."

"And?"

"I want you to play the piano."

"What song?"

"Hello by Evanescence." He didn't look thrilled.
"What?"

"This tour is eating you alive."

"What are you talking about?"

"Talk to him please?"

"I'm-"

"I know you're afraid. Do your best please."

"Okay tomorrow."

"Thanks, I know how to play the song. I'll do it for you."

"Thanks."

"Doll, we are turning in." Pete said with Dan behind him.

"Alright," I looked at Brendon.
"You going too?"

"Nope, just you and me left." He smiled.
"Wanna practice the song?"

"Sure."

"Let's go."
