Chapter 5
(Alexis's Point of View)
"So how many songs have you guys wrote?" Pete asked.
"I believe twelve."
"Yeah twelve," Dan informed.
"Do you guys want to do any cover songs?"
"Yeah!" I said happily.
"Like what?"
"Can we do almost any song we want to do?"
"Mostly."
"Um, I want to cover Burning Love by Elvis!" Shannon said.
"Refugee by Tom Petty."
"Rebel Yell by Billy Idol!" Dan cheered.
"You want me to sing Rebel Yell?" I said shocked.
"Yeah you have a great voice; it would be great to hear a girl sing the song."
"I Love Rock 'n Roll by Joan Jett?" Ingrid suggested. I nodded liking the suggestions that were being given so far. It was my turn to give a suggestion.
"Helter Skelter by The Beatles?" I said as the door opened and in walked in Brendon, Spencer, and Ryan. Gosh did I like that boy, and his kisses are wonderful.
"Pete, we have a little problem." Spencer said.
"What would that be?"
"You like The Beatles?" Brendon asked me.
"Uh yeah. Shan?"
"Yes my love."
"Uh gross much? We Are The Champions by Queen." She wrote that down too.
"You like Queen too?" Brendon asked amazed.
"Love them."
"Getting back to the subject, Brent quit."
"Why?!"
"He was being an ass, lazy, and rude."
"And other shit." Brendon added.
"So now we need a new one." Spencer concluded.
"I know someone." I started.
"Who?" All four of them said in unison.
"My friend Jon, he plays bass, and really good too."
"I miss good 'ol Jon." Shannon sighed. I pushed her and then looked back at all four of them.
"Is he able to come out here?"
"I'll give him a call, and tell you. He probably should be able to. When I told him we were going on tour he was mad 'cause he has nothing to do this summer.
"Good, call and tell me what's up." Pete said leaving the room.
"You're a life saver!" Spencer said walking out of the room.
"With a good taste in music," Brendon added walking out of the room. Ryan smiled at me and leaned down to give me a quick peck on the lips, and he too walked out of the room.
"Always by Bon Jovi."
