"you're sure you be okay?" Ryan asked, his date with Karina in a halfa hour. he had to pick her up.
in truth i didnt like her but---"yea i'll be fine, now go pick her up!"
"fine but if anything happens, call me. text me. or effing throw Spence at me." Ryan laughed the last part.
"i will. i will. George hasnt been home in a while either, im fine!" i insisted.
"okay. but still call me alright."
"okay. okay i will. now go!" i pushed.
"alright, bye Candy." he kissed my cheek. he walked out the door and went to get Karina.

the door slammed open. i sprang up from my bed. i heard someone---GEORGE---curse around downstairs.
shit, he doesnt know im pregant. he'll kill me and Brendon. but he stayed downstairs.
a little while later, the phone rang. i figured George answer it.
he did alright. he came storming upstairs and swung open my door.
"its a fucking boy." George snarled.
"wh-what? i mean ... what?" i whimpered.
"your doctor called. saids to see him in three weeks. to know what the it is!" he snarled.
"dont call my baby a 'it'!" i snapped.
he slapped me. "dont talk to me like that. i knew you were a slut like your mom!" he slapped me again.
"stop it!" i ran into Ryan's room and locked the door.
i dailed Ryan's cell.
"hey it's Ryan. leave a message and i'll call you back." i got his anwsering machine.
"hey Ryan. G-george is home. al-alright call me back." i left a message.
"open this fucking door you!" George yelled.
i went under Ryan's covers.
around 9:3o [Ryan was supposed to home a halfa hour ago] George got the door opened.
"dont you ever lock me out again you slut!" he hit me a couple of times. then he knocked me down and kicked my stomach. "problem solved you fucking whore."
i regained my breath and tried to run. i ran back to my room and hopped out the window. i ran to Spence's house.
Spence's house
i went through the back door. i ran upstairs and found Spence's room.
he was playing scrabble with a little girl.
"ahem ..." i cleared my throat.
"huh? oh hey Cand---what happened? actually wait. Lisa, go play with Kathy. tell her Spence's needs to talk to someone." he said to the little girl. she nodded and ran off to a other room.
"mom's friend asked mne to babysit. so ... what happened?" he asked.
i told him what happened. he listened and by the end he just nodded and opened his arms.
i sighed and sank into them. "thanks Spence. im sorry i came here, but you're closest."
"thats okay. are you okay? the baby?" he asked.
"yea i pretty sure we're okay. ima try to call Ryan again." i dailed his cell. i got his stupid voicemail. "agh! Ryan, im at Spence's okay call me back."
"hes not answering?"
"no err he better have a good reason."
"he probably does. now go grab some clothes and go to sleep. i'll wake you when something important happens, kay?" i nodded. "alright i let you change."
morning.
i took Spence's bed while he chilled on the floor. i protested, but he insisted. when i woke up i found Spence and Ryan on the floor.
i nudged him and he snapped up. "oh ... morning Candy ..." he yawned.
"yea glad you came!' i snapped. i realized he had a black eye.
"sorry. i really am. i had my phone on silent. i didnt get your messaes until after i got home. i saw my dad and he flipped on me. sorry Candy."
i sighed. "i know you are. next, keep your phone on loud." i nudged Spence.
"huh? oh hi Ryan." Spence yawned.
"guys, i dont wanna go to school" i sighed
"me too." Spence and Ryan agreed.

noone went to school, even Karina. ew i still dont like her. why? i dont know. yet. we were at Kacey's house.
"lets play strip monopoly!" Brendon laughed.
"nah that game is too short." Liana said.
"how you know?" Spence asked.
"i played withmy friend Adam. it went by too quick." Liana answered.
"fine lets watch Full House." Kacey jumped and grabbed the Full House series dvd.
"ew thats so childish." Karina sneered
"ummm ooooooooooookay fine then oy! Young Frankenstein." Kacey pulled out another Dvd.
"scare-rey." Karina said.
"oy! how bout ... um Alice in Wonderland! the live one!" KAcey pulled out that Dvd.
"wasnt the author high?" Karina made a face.
"so? pop it in Kace!" Ryan smiled.

"Candy, Liana, can i tell you something?" Kacey asked.
me and Liana nodded. "wassup?"
"know how im dating Jon?"
"si." i said.
"well, im not."
"you broke up with him?" Liana asked.
"no. its just." Kacey lowered her voice. "im using him to get Ryan jealous. hopefully he'll break up with Karina."
"does Jon know?" i asked. that would so start a band fight thingy.
"yea, he does."
"okay. i hope this works. i hate Karina." i sighed.
