Take A Sad Song and Make It Better

Only time will tell how long I can wait.

[Alanna's POV]

My phone rang, I hurriedly picked it up.

"H-Hello?"

"Hey, I'm outside the bus."

"Okay, I'll be right out."

I shut the phone, taking deep breaths. I unlocked the door, opening it. I grabbed my stuff, walking out.

"Alanna?! Where are you going." Chris asked.

Everyone looked up at me with sad and confused expressions.

"I'm g-going ho-home." I muttered.

"Home? You mean back with him?" asked Travis.

I nodded.

"Its the only place I have left to go."

"You can stay here." Derek said in a small voice.

"I'm sorry, I have to go now."

I opened the doors and stepped down. Maddox was standing there, cigarette in hand.

"Let me help you." he said in a soft voice

He picked up my small bag of clothes, placing them in his car. Everyone was outside standing in front of the bus. Jac approached me.

"Are you sure you want to do this? You can stay here with us."

"I'm sure. Its best if I go." I replied.

She sighed nodding.

Next Travis and Derek.

"I'll miss you." muttered Derek.

"I'll call."

"It won't be the same without you here." Travis said, pulling me into a hug.

"Things will go back to normal after a while."

I hugged Derek, Jac, and Chris, before walking to the car.

"Alanna, wait!"

I slowly turned.

Matt wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly.

"I'm sorry."

I pushed him off, staring at the ground.

"Bye Matt."

I got into the car, Maddox grasped my hand tightly, smiling at me. I smiled back.

"Ready to go?"

"Yea."

I stared out the window as we drove off. I laid back into the seat, closing my eyes.
