The Adventures of the Mini-Kaulitz Twins!

Chapter 34

Joss’s POV.

‘Oh can we go? Can we go? Please!’ I jumped up and down excitedly hanging from Hayden’s arm.

‘If you get off then whatever, but you guys have another show tonight.’ Hayden answered looking pointedly at Bill, Gustav, Georg and Tom in turn who then all disappeared up stairs. I spun around and around the bus squealing.

‘This is so great. What should we go on first? I haven’t been to the fair in so long!’ I stopped suddenly and gasped. ‘Oh my god, they have sweeties at fairs! And candy-floss! But I think that actually makes me feel sick. I bet they have lots of spinning things there we could get so dizzy! And they’ll ha-’

‘Okay, shut up. We get it, you’re excited. You’re giving me a fucking headache, sit down.’ Pouting I gave up and bounced down onto a seat.

‘It’s so great you two are together now. I think my headache has finally gone. I mean you two were freaking loud with all that shouting and fighting an-’

‘Did someone slip something into your drink? What have you people been feeding this girl?!’ Sasha yelled up the stairs. Bill came down the stairs and popped his head out to look.

‘What’s up?’ He looked confused.

‘Your girlfriend she’s insane. Can’t you take her somewhere to calm down or something?’

‘Bill! Bill! We’re going to the fair! There’s going to be spinning rides and lots and lots of sweets!’ Bill’s face transformed into a smile then much to the annoyance of both Hayden and Sasha he began to jump about the bus with me. But then there was no space to jump around as Georg and Gustav came down stairs.

‘I think I’m going to go lay down a bit.’ Hayden dashed up the stairs.

Hayden’s POV

As I headed up the stairs to Tom I found him sat in his bunk.

‘I’m going to go down there and strangle her in a minute.’ His eyes were drawn together in anger.

‘Well you kind of get used to it after a while. But yes, killing her does seem like a good idea sometimes. Anyway, I was thinking we need to get payback.’ Grinning I sat next to him as he looked at me.

‘Payback?’

‘Oh wake up, for locking us in the fucking cupboard!’ Realisation slowly flooded his face. ‘Well Joss wants to go to this fair thing so we could do something there, like pay the carnies for them to get stuck on a ride or something?’

‘We could lock someone in a porta-loo.’

‘A what?’

‘You know, those toilets in the blue boxes that they have at fairs.’ He explained.

‘Well I know for a fact Joss and Bill won’t even think about using one of those, maybe if we keep feeding Sasha drinks? Or the guys are shameless enough to use one.’ Already I could see it in my head, one of them locked in one of those grotty, smelling toilets banging on the door. ‘They locked us in a cupboard and wouldn’t let us out I guess. But how are we going to get back on Joss and Bill, I’d say steal their clothes but that’s just getting too cliché with us.’ As I racked my brain for something to do to them Tom looked deep in concentration himself. ‘We could pour water on someone? But that’s nothing, something worse than water?’

‘Flour? Tomato sauce? Food dye?’

‘Food dye! But, we could but it in their drinks so they have stained teeth it’ll last longer. We are so good.’

‘I’m good at everything.’

Georg’s POV

Finally! We’ve stopped. We can get out of hitting range from the dancing baboons. I don’t know how they can so excited, the rest of us are just worrying about our punishments, whenever they will be. Hayden and Tom suddenly appeared at the door of the bus.

‘Tom! Come on we’re going! Actually, just let me get a drink.’

‘OH, a drink sounds good, I think my throats gone dry.’ Joss followed Bill to the steps but we stopped by Hayden.

‘No, that’s okay, I’ll get you both one, I was just on my way.’ She disappeared back onto the bus. After reappearing with cans for the hyperactive six-year-olds they took them and drained the cans.

‘Whoa, I really needed that. Can we go now?’ Joss skipped to the bin and came back smiling a big, toothy smile. We couldn’t help but burst out laughing. ‘What?’

‘You just got a little something on your teeth.’ Sasha spat out between bouts of laughter. Joss rubbed her teeth.

‘Has it gone? Did I get it?’

‘Um, yes Joss. You really got it.’ Hayden smiled. No one had the heart to tell her that her white teeth were now stained blue.

Sasha’s POV

‘Why are people laughing at us?’ Joss asked through her teeth still smiling beside Bill.

‘I don’t know, just keep smiling.’ He replied and I couldn’t help but giggle, so Gustav elbowed me in the ribs.

‘Ouch.’ I whispered back. We slowed down and dropped to the back of the group. ‘Gustav, you know what this means don’t you?’

‘That’s Hayden and Tom have officially commenced operation ‘Revenge’? Yeah.’

‘What are we going to do? Hayden ruthless, I don’t think she’s going to go easy on us. What if she plays on weaknesses? What if she goes crazy with it?’

‘You mean like you are right now?’

‘It’s not funny. Everybody knows that image is everything to Bill and Joss, if something about them looks wrong they’d go crazy! Can you imagine what’s going to happen when they find out? Joss looks like her mouth is rotting and Bill looks like a really bad remake of Count Dracula!’

Gustav sighed. ‘Okay I see your point. But Hayden and Tom aren’t some kind of crazy, violent, reckless army officers okay? They’ll stay within reason. I hope.’

As we finally approached the entrance to the fairground Bill and Joss ran off in the direction of the biggest ride there leaving us behind. Once they were gone everyone was doubled over with laughter all over again, wiping their eyes and struggling for breath.

‘Two down, three to go.’ Hayden sighed smiling, took Tom’s hand and started walking off and only looked over her shoulder to say, ‘have fun!’

‘Did she just hand us a threat? That was a threat I heard wasn’t it? Damn. They’re going to kill us.’ Georg whined. ‘So we get them to stop fighting but now they have nothing to do so they turn on us! Maybe we should have let them keep fighting.’

‘Hey! Don’t say that! You know how bad that was, that was much worse than this. Come on? What’s the worst they could do?’

‘I think we should move from here and go on a ride or something, I think I just heard someone scream and it sounded very much like Bill.’ Gustav said headed towards the house of mirrors.

Bill’s POV

‘Joss! Our teeth! What are we going to do?!’

‘This is why everyone was laughing at us. This isn’t fair, this really isn’t fair. Why would they do something to make me look like this! To make us look like idiots in front of everyone!’

‘Okay calm down, we’ll just go hide somewhere for a minute and figure out what to do. We knew they were going to do something like this. Come on, over here.’ I dragged her sliding through mud in between the house of mirrors and the fun house. ‘Okay, just we need to breathe.’

‘Bill, we can’t smile or talk or eat sweets. All three things I love to do most! And we look ridiculous.’

‘It won’t last that long, I hope. And everyone else is going to be put in an embarrassing situation as well, it’s just bad luck we were first.’ I pulled her into a hug against the wall.

‘Do you think anyone can see us back here?’

‘No, I don’t think so. Why?’

‘We just don’t get to be alone that’s all.’ Then she smiled a wicked smile.

‘Really? Behind the fun house?’

Sasha’s POV

I lost Gustav in the house of mirrors almost as soon as I stepped through into the maze of shiny reflective panels. Why did we hide on here? I’m crap at finding my way out of these things. All I could hear was shouting from the other couple of people who were in here, I figured, if I went toward the shouting at least I would find someone to help me out of here. I turned a few corners and felt like I was getting nowhere.

‘Gustav!’ I shouted as a looked about, mostly at myself in the walls. Then at someone else’s face. ‘Hello?’ Then they disappeared. Okay, that was… strange.

I walked some more then turned a corner and saw a freaking clown! Screaming a turned back the other way nearly ran into someone head on, it was the clown again. I screaming turning into what I thought was a corner but when turned out to be solid mirror. ‘Ow, fucking hell! Gustav! Where the hell is a guy when you need one?’

Still running there were clown faces all over the place, I just started screaming when one came up behind me and started to follow me around. ‘Gustav! How the fucking hell do I get out of here damn it!’ Faces, faces and more faces everywhere I looked. ‘Gustav if this is you, you’re so dead!’ In the end I found blues skies and ran out tripping down the stairs screaming, realising I had tears down my face. ‘Asshole!’

‘Sasha?! Sasha! Are you okay? I heard you screaming. What’s wrong?’ Gustav came running out moments later and shook me.

‘What’s wrong?! What do you mean what’s wrong?! You asshole. Fucking insensitive pig!’ I started to storm away before I heard raucous and hysteria coming from the doorway and Hayden and Tom laughed their way down the stairs to us.

‘Oh that was so much better than I thought it would be!’ Hayden held to the rails for support. ‘Your face! Then you thought… you thought it was Gustav! And all along…’ She burst into hysterics just at the sight of me. In her hand I saw a mask, a different one in Tom’s.

‘It’s not funny! Why would you do that?!’

‘I thought it was fucking hysterical!’

‘I had to try so hard not to laugh in the mask.’ Tom admitted breathing slowly.

‘Hayden! This is just… come on Gustav.’ I grabbed his hand and we made for the exit. How could they do that! Hayden knows of my –slightly immature- phobia of clowns! ‘How could she be such a bitch to pull this over on me? Then make me think it was you!’ I sat down on a rusting bench in tears and resting against Gustav’s shoulder.

‘Dry your face, let’s go get something to eat, then we can go on a ride and throw up. You’ll feel better in no time. Honest.’ He smiled down at me.

‘That sounds good. But maybe we leave out the bit about puking, I’m really not up for that.’

Hayden’s POV

‘Do you think we went too far?’ Tom asked.

‘Fuck no! She’ll get over it.’

‘What’s all the shouting? What’s going on? Was someone crying?’ Joss asked trying to fix her hair as she and Bill appeared from behind us. They were a damn mess. Hair was all out of place, Joss’s shirt was all buttoned up wrong and Bill’s trousers weren’t quite finished getting zipped up yet.

‘Were you two just…?’ Tom started.

‘…Behind the fun house?’ I asked shooting a look up and down them. ‘Bill.’ I pointed to his trousers.

‘Oh... erm.’ Quickly he zipped them up. ‘We weren’t doing anything behind the fun house. Anyway, that’s beside the point! What have you done to our teeth!’

‘Didn’t having weird coloured teeth put you off?’ Tom looked at Bill then to Joss then back to Bill. ‘Joss.’ He looked at her shirt which she quickly fixed.

‘Coloured teeth… coloured teeth! Now I can’t even smile, I can’t eat sweeties. I’m going to pig out when we get back to the bus. And I’m going to have pasta.’ She started to walk away and poked her tongue.

‘Nice one Bill, behind the fun house, exotic.’ Tom winked and Bill ran away. ‘So, what now?’

‘Well, I guess we have to follow Georg about and wait for him to need the toilet. You got the tape?’

‘Check. Let’s go stalk my own band mate.’

We spotted Georg over by a food stand with a can of coke and another empty one by his wrist. ‘This might be easier than I thought.’ Sitting by the Farris Wheel we watched as he got up headed straight over to the portable toilets. Which we could smell from nearly 100 yards away. ‘Just wait until he goes in then we’ll run over.’ Hidden behind a man with balloons we waited then made a run for it each getting the duct-tape ready out of the bag. As soon as we got there we started to run around the blue box with the tape trying not to breathe too much. The place smelt like shit, which was understandable.

‘Whoa! Hey! What the hell’s going on! Let me out!’ Georg started banging on the door and shouting.

‘Sorry Georg! It’s for your own good. But you really did literally walk into that one! Anyway, hope you had a good time at the fair, the smell isn’t too bad is it?’

‘Hayden! Tom! Let me out of here right now!’ His fist was pounding on the door from the inside.

‘I’m sorry man, I didn’t have a choice. Got to listen to the lady once in a while.’

‘Damn right.’

‘I’ll come let you out later.’ Tom and I made our way over to a stall covered in teddies. ‘I still can’t believe Bill.’

‘I know, I’m so disappointed in Joss. Oh well. Get me one of those Unicorns.’ I pointed above our heads.

‘But, you’re not a unicorn person.’

‘I know, but I don’t care. I want to see you get one for me.’ He took a bucket of hoops and started throwing it at the bottles. He had to hook one onto a bottle top to get me a prize, sounds easy.

An hour later

‘Damn it Tom! It can’t be that hard!’

‘I’m trying! I’m trying! It’s impossible!’

‘Fuck it. Give me one of those hoops.’ I took it from him and threw it at the bottles and it hooked right on. ‘Unicorn please.’ Once it was handed to me I threw it at Tom’s chest. ‘Here’s your prize you baby.’

‘Beginners luck.’ He muttered but I pretended not to hear.

Joss’s POV

‘Maybe we shouldn’t have stayed hidden instead of coming out to see what was going on.’ I giggled.

‘Maybe. Oh well. I want to go on a ride! And we need to buy loads of sweets to take with us.’ We walked around still flattening my hair, smiling toothless smiles. ‘Isn’t that Gustav and Sasha?’

‘Hey yeah, ooh! They’re going on The Earthshaker thing! Let’s go on it with them.’ We walked over to them and sat next to them. ‘Sasha, are you okay? You look like you’ve been crying.’ I asked putting my hand on her arm for comfort.

‘Yeah I’m fine. Just Hayden and Tom pulled a nasty trick in the house of mirrors.’

‘So it was you who was screaming and crying!’ Bill blurted. ‘Sorry, that was so insensitive, what did they do?’

‘Joss, you know how I’m terrified of clowns right? Well they had masks on and they were following me around in there and because it’s full of mirrors the faces were just everywhere. Then I thought it was Gustav and started shouting at him and they came out busting a gut laughing!’

‘Sasha, that’s so bad. I’m sorry. Umm, off subject, has anyone seen Georg?’ I asked looking around as the ride started.

‘We haven’t. He wasn’t with Tom and Hayden.’ Gustav said.

‘He must have gone back to the bus. I feel so bad for him sometimes, maybe we should try and hook him up?’

‘Yeah, but with who?’ Bill wondered before we were through to the side as the ride began to go around and around.

When we finally stood back on the ground our heads were spinning. There were clouds over head and the rain was starting to fall, so did Bill’s hair. We huddled under the cover of the Waltzer waiting for it to end so we could get on when Gustav ran round the side and started making gagging noises.

‘Gustav! I thought we said we were going to leave out the part about throwing up! I’d hold your hair back but there’s really no point. Are you okay?’ Sasha asked as we stood over him.

‘Yeah, I’m fine, really. I think I’ll just sit this ride out though. Maybe the bumper-cars are a better idea.’

‘Sorry, guys, we’ll catch you up again later. I might take him back to the bus or something.’

‘No, no. I don’t want to go back to the bus I can stay. Honest.’ They headed off towards a drinks stall.

‘I think we should go back after this ride, all my make-up is going to run, and look at your hair.’

‘Oh who’s cares about my hair. But I guess the bus sounds good, it’ll be warm. And we might be able to be alone again, unless Georg is there.’ He laughed as we sat in the car and had the bar put down.

Hayden’s POV

Walking around and around we finally spotted a ride that took our interest, bumper-cars. We headed over and, what are the chances of spotting Gustav and Sasha waiting in line?

‘How long do you think we should wait before we let Georg out?’

‘Until everyone notices he’s missing. Come on we can totally take those two on here!’ We bounced over to Sasha. ‘Sasha, sorry about before, didn’t mean to make you cry or anything.’

‘Yeah well whatever. We’re just taking it easy now, Gustav was sick but he won’t go back to the bus.’

‘Well that’s just stupid.’

‘Have you guys seen Georg anywhere?’

‘Umm, no. We thought he was with you.’ Tom tried his hardest not to smile.

‘He’s missing, maybe he went back to the bus. Anyway, Bill and Joss are on the Waltzer, they seem like they’re having fun at least.’

‘Yeah, too much fun. We came to join you on the cars, think you can take us?’

‘Oh most definitely.’

Bill’s POV

Hand in hand Joss and I headed back for the bus with our big bags of sweets and need for teeth brushing. But when we got there, Georg was nowhere to be seen.

‘Dinner for two?’ I turned toward Joss who smiled. ‘I’ll make your favourite pasta. I promise.’ I kissed her as she headed straight for the bathroom to clean her mouth with toothpaste and mouthwash. ‘Where do you think Georg will have gone?’

‘I don’t know, hopes he’s alright. What if Hayden and Tom caught up with him after they left us?’

‘Yeah, then what if they thought it was his turn to get pranked?’ We were both silent for a moment. ‘I’m sure he’s fine.’ The rain was hitting the roof hard, I went around closing all the curtains then put on some music. While I was cooking Joss shouted she was changing and going to fix her hair, I took the opportunity to fish out some candles. How often do you get to be romantic with everyone else around all the time?

Don't know if this is any good, I think I might have let it get a bit weird toward the end, but the beginning's okay. I think.
It's good to be writing this again! I've missed it so much!
