Chapter 28-Rachel
Jimmy and David left one way and Jerry left another, followed with Ron behind him. We all stood around Tina’s limp body, still beautiful though. Connor sat next to a tree, kind of distant from what was happening, like life didn’t exist anymore to him.
“Give him a few days, Rach,” Nick said, trying to overcome his pain as much as Connor was. He didn’t show it as much as Connor was though.
I sighed and sat on the grass and leaves and just thought of how this happened, this is bullshit; she was ten-god damn-years old. She shouldn’t have died.
I sighed, tried to figure out what went wrong and ended up falling back to sleep.
