Chapter 34-Terry

Jimmy showed me around the house that he and David lived in when they were children. They had disappeared, leaving me to the room in the attic to myself; mostly so I could ponder my own thoughts.

Wow, they’re so nice, I told myself and lay on my bed. I sighed and stared at the wooden roof. I heard people laughing, other than Jimmy, David and Ron and someone climbing the stairs.

“Oh, um, why are you here? Like, in this room, of all the rooms?” he asked as I sat up.

“I’m staying here, why?” I asked back as I took a good look at him. He had white hair, which continuously fell into his soft grey eyes, but it seemed as if he didn’t care. He had his hands in and the bottom of the sleeves of the blue shirt he wore, in the pockets of his baggy black pants.

“Well, not in this room,” he sighed, kind of pissed off at me, “this is where I sleep and live.”

“Oh, sorry, David and Jimmy put me here for the next few days,” I sighed and he looked at me.

“Jimmy and David..?” They came back?” he sounded shocked. “Anyways, there’s another empty room across from here, take that one,” he pointed and I did what I was told and shut the door behind me.
