Chapter 40-Terry

I growled. My head hurt and my feet weren’t on the ground anymore. This is stupid, very stupid shit, I told myself, I just HAD to get myself into trouble.

I wiggled my hands. They were chained to the wall; If only I listened to my dad years ago I wouldn’t be in this shit.

I should’ve been happy that there was a light and that it was on, I’m thankful for that. I sighed and the door opened.

A guy walked in, which stunned me by his looks. He had dark brown, nearly black, hair and grey eyes, along with that soft childish face that I’ve seen before. “Well, look what we have here,” he said, his voice sounded familiar, too, “we have a beauty on our hands.”

“Our? I only see one of you!” I yelled and he smiled.

“That, my dear, may be true, but my home is alive and well,” he snapped his fingers and the chains moved into the wall, sending me higher up, “see? It lives, and you’ll soon die.”

“I’d die in front of Hex and Nick and Rachel than to die in front of you!” I yelled, and he flinched. Why’d he flinch?

“Now, my dear, we’ll see,” he laughed and disappeared.

That guy has a big ego, I told myself and sighed.
