As My Tears Turn Red

I continued serving lot's of perverted demon's for the day like many other girls.

After what seemed like hours Risk showed up.

“Alright let's go.” He raised a tiny key and unlocked my chain.

“He let you by me?”

“Well, not exactly...”

“What do you mean?”

“I stole the key, now come on let's go before he finds out”

“Okay”

He grabbed my hand and led me out the doors.

We walked down a stairway to a portal much like the one Blaize kidnapped me through.

Upon going through we arrived at an alleyway.

Risk led me over to a motorcycle.

I hesitated, but hopped on behind him.

We drove off into the night.

It was really awkward sitting on a bike in such a little dress.

“Where are we going?” I spoke next to his ear, my arms wrapped around him.

“I'm gonna stop at a park up ahead so we can figure that out. Welcome back to the mortal world by the way.”

“Thanks” I giggled.

I actually smiled.

I hadn't smiled this genuinely since back with my guys.

We pulled over at the park.

“Alright so where do you want to go?” I glanced up, I recognized this place we were right next to Kay's neighborhood.

“Right over there it's in the apartment buildings, building three”

“You got it”

He started the bike again and we pulled up to the small drive.

All my boys had one of the apartments rented in this building.

I got off the bike and walked inside Risk following, going up the small amount of stairs to apartment E.

When I got to the top the door flew open.

Kay.

We embraced in a big hug and I ended up crying.

“I missed you so much Kay” I whispered in his ear.

“I missed you too, how'd you get here?”

“Ahem” Risk cleared his throat.

“Who's the demon?” Ty's voice called and I saw the rest of my guys coming out of there apartments.

“Ty, Trek, Amon, Chamos” I said each of their names as I gave them a hug.

“Oh, guys this is Risk” I pointed to my new friend. “He helped me escape Lucian”

“Oh so that's where you ended up, I'm so sorry we didn't get to you”

“It's okay, all that matters is that I'm here now, let's go in Kay's place” I turned to Kay's open door and walked in all the guys following.

I sat down on the small couch he had and Kay sat next to me.

The guys scattered around and Risk leaned against a far wall.

“Tell us what happened since you were first kidnapped” Amon prodded.

“Well you know it wasn't any fun with Blaize, he divided up the days between him and the other guys. That's why I was with Si at school.” I began leaving out things here and there like feeling safe at Dakota's and my instant trust to Risk; they didn't seem to like him much.

It must be because he's a demon and they're angels.

'Where are you?'

'Not you again'

'Don't defy me!' Blaize screamed in my mind obviously pissed.

I fell.

It was so hot and painful, blinding me.

The pain pulsed from my neck that being the center point and I barely noticed the crowd of friends around me.

“What do we do?” Chamos's voice was distant and hazy.

“Er...” Kay was frantic trying to reposition me and stop the pain.

“Move.” Calm and demanding.

Risk walked forward and placed his cool hand to my neck.

I sighed instantly cooler and clasped my hand around his, pulling it harder against my neck.

'What did you do? Why aren't you in pain?' Blaize again.

'Leave me alone'

His voice left and I stood slowly, still holding on to Risk since the incident left me feeling as if I had a fever.

I moved his hand from my neck to my forehead.

He didn't seem to mind, he even put his other hand around me to cool my neck as well.

I sighed feeling slightly weak and leaning in to him.

He chuckled.

“Tired?”

I nodded smiling.

“Well what you know demon's are good for something”

I looked up to Kay and if I didn't know better I'd swear I saw jealousy in his eyes.

“Looks like I'm a lot more use then you are you bird”

“We could cool her down with ice just as easily”

“Then why didn't you?”

By now Kay had already taken a step forward and Risk began too, but I held his hands in place.

“Stop you guys”

“Shut up Lilith” Kay stayed glaring at Risk.

I gasped.

Kay had never spoken to me like that before.

He always had a soft spot for me, gave me what ever I wanted.

Wait, could it possibly be that Kay liked me in that way?

As more then a friend and now jealousy was getting the best of him?

“Kay look what your saying”

He glared at me.

Risk moved and I let him too shocked by Kay to react.

“Don't look or talk to her in that way.” Risk glared harder his voice still calm but with that underline of order; of threat.

Kay sighed and slumped down onto the couch.

He put his head in his hands.

“I'm sorry, the stress of the past days must just be getting to me.”

It was a nice sincere apology, but I didn't hear it.

I was flailing through darkness.
