As My Tears Turn Red

The rest of the day was simple.

Just two more classes, and one of my buddies was in both of them.

I got home and kicked off my shoes, walking into the kitchen.

I was about to get something to eat when the doorbell rang.

“Come in!” I yelled knowing that the only one who ever comes over is the gang.

“Hey Baby” I froze.

“B-B-Blaize, w-what are you doing here?” I turned around to face him.

He shrugged coming closer, his whole crew behind him.
“You know, just came to hang out”

He grinned and closed the last gap between us me being mushed against the counter.

“How did you know where I lived?”

“Followed you” He said it as though it were the simplest thing;To stalk someone.

'Crazy stalker'

One of the other guys laughed, Si I think his name was.

Blaize turned and walked into the living room, plopping himself onto the couch.

“Kay and the others will be here soon” I said trying to sound brave.

Si, and one of the others, Drake, laughed at my attempt.

“Bring her to me”

I tried to move away as two of his friends advanced on me.

“It's okay I'm not gonna hurt you sweetie” One with black hair and blue streaks said mockingly.

I was cornered. Crap.

The guys in front of me smirked.

Each one grabbed one of my arms.

They lifted me up, causing my legs to swing wildly in attempts to get free.

They laughed and threw me on top of Blaize.

I landed face down on top of him.

I tried to get up but he wrapped an arm around my waste holding me there.

My hands and face were on his chest.

'Oh god, why me?'

'Because they have you and I want you'

'I must be going crazy his voice is back'

He chuckled causing my head to move slightly up and down with his chest.

“No Baby, your not crazy I'm just a vampire”

'Okay he's crazy'

He moved one of his arms to my chin and roughly lifted it up.

I wriggled, but he just smiled wider then usual exposing two large fangs.

He moved my head to the side causing me to gulp and my body to stiffen.

The room was filled with chuckles, but I barely noticed.

He leaned towards my neck and kissed it, causing me to shudder in disgust.

His mouth opened and I felt the points of his fangs scrape my skin.

The doorbell rang, and he lifted his head.

“Go answer the door Drake”

'Drake',the guy with black hair and blue streaks, walked out of the room.

Blaize switched us around so he was sitting upright, with me in between his legs and leaning back against him.

His arms wrapped around my waist, with his hands folded in a casual way.

I squirmed and he gripped tighter causing a slight yelp to escape my lips.

“Hey Kay, how are you today?” Drake greeted with sarcastic friendliness.

“Drake.” The word dripped with venom. “What have you done to her?”

“Why I don't know what you mean?” I could almost see the smirk on his face.

I wanted to say something, but Blaize had pulled out a knife and rested it against my throat.

“Lilith, where is she?” Trek spoke which is rare.

“Oooh her, she's in there” I'm guessing he nodded towards this room,”and we haven't done anything to her...yet.”

I heard a shove and then saw Kay followed by the rest of my friends,and Drake,come in the room.

My guys tensed as they saw how I was trapped.

“Let. Her. Go” Kay gritted his teeth.

“I already told you I don't want to.”

A tear ran down my cheek.

'I can't let them fight. They wouldn't have a chance, these guys were...vampires'

I heard Blaize snicker and he leaned forward so that he was at my ear.

“So you believe me now Baby?” He said it quietly so only I could hear.

I could tell he was smiling menacingly at Kay.

I stiffened more, if that was possible.

I looked at my friends all with their fists clenched.

I went to gesture to them with my hand, but Blaize snagged my wrist.

He squeezed it so hard I could already feel bruises forming.

I cried in pain.

Kay's knuckles turned white.

He looked so frustrated, he couldn't do anything with the knife across my throat.

“Do you?” He whispered again. I could feel his lips brush my ear.

I didn't say anything.

“Answer me!” He screamed so that it echoed through the house.

My stomach lurched and I weakly nodded.

He let go of my wrist. Which was bright red and sat back again, calmer now that I answered.

“I'm going to kill you” Kay shouted.

“Oh, really” Blaize pushed the knife tighter to my throat, causing me to move farther back against him.

“Kay...” I croaked out and Blaize let me,”You can't ...you can't win Kay... they're vampires” His eyes widened in surprise but hardened again as he glanced back at Blaize.

“I know.” This time my eyes widened.

'How did he know?'

'He's not who he seems to be'

I shuddered.

'Get out of my head'

'Nah, I don't want to'

“Well, it's time for us to go,right Baby?”

'I hope he doesn't mean me too'

'Of course I mean you'

“Yes of course dear” He mocked a girl voice while grabbing my head to move it up and down as if nodding yes.

Tears streamed down my cheeks.

Moving my head caused the knife to cut my neck slightly.

“Good.” He leaned around me and shifted the knife to the side of my neck.

He moved his mouth to my neck and slowly licked away the blood.

I struggled to move in revulsion, but he held me steady.

I looked at Kay through tear filled eyes.

He shook with anger and there was a ripping noise.

Blaize moved his head.

Wings sprouted from Kay's back.

They were black with chains and holes all over.

Some loose feathers fell to the ground and I gasped.

He looked like an angel.

'Just like what Blaize said at lunch'

“I said it for a reason” He whispered to me as he started to stand up ,scooping me bridal style.

I glanced up to him wondering what he was doing and his eyes caught mine.

I whimpered as they changed from black to purple to black again.

He chuckled.

I looked back around the room.

The vampires were scattered around the room, looking bored.

All of my guys stood in a group towards the center of the room, with wings in different shades from gray to black.

' What are they?'

'Fallen Angels.'

'Stop that'

'You wanted to know.'

“Well, bye Kay I'll see you at school”

He started to walk towards the back wall where Si stood.

The other vamps followed.

A portal opened behind us and we started backing up.

I struggled pounding him with my fists, but it didn't seem to faze him at all.

It actually hurt me, his skin was like rock.

I met the gaze of Kay one more time with pleading eyes as we were enclosed in darkness.

I became dizzy as the dark swirled around us and blacked out.
