As My Tears Turn Red

“Alright goodbyes over.” Blaize's harsh voice broke me out of my thoughts as he yanked me up, causing Risk's head to hit the ground.

“You killed him!” I said pounding my fists into Blaize's chest.

He just wrapped his arms around me, pulling me tight to him.

“Didn't I tell you I would?” I looked up to him through my tears, seeing him raise an eyebrow in amusement.

“Is this just a game to you?” I spoke softly, still crying.

He wiped my tears away, “No, but you know I had to kill him. He kissed you. You. Your mine.”

I cried, trying to hit him again, “No, no, no.” I weakened with each hit until I just broke down, losing my surroundings.

“Oh my love, it's all for the best.” Blaize stroked my hair.

“Get away from her!” Si's voice sounded fierce.

“Always interupted.” He muttered to me, then louder, “Ah Si, my friend. How nice it is to see you.”

Blaize put me behind him then took a step towards Si.

They circled each other, slightly crouched, almost animal like.

“You know I wasn't very happy with your betrayal a while back.”

“Well I wasn't happy with the way you were treating Lilith.” Si argued back.

“You were fine with it before.” Blaize smirked.

“I changed my mind.” He snapped.

Blaize snarled and they both jumped at each other.

It was kind of scary to watch; Two vampires fighting each other.

They clawed at each other and bared their fangs, at the same time as punching and kicking.

I was a bit frozen in fear at first, but then I slipped Risk's ring on my finger, having to put it on my pointer finger it coming from his ring finger.

It was still a bit loose, but I wasn't in danger of losing it.

I walked forward, sneeking around blaize and Si, and taking a last glance at Risk.

I headed towards where Kay was, as I walked up he knocked out a vamp and turned to me.

“Lil? Why are you out here? What happened?” He asked.

Tears continued streaming down my cheeks.

“Risk...” I answered and glanced to where his body lay.

Kay gasped, “How?”

“Blaize...”

Just then I was yanked back.

“Hey I was fighting for you over there, how dare you walk away.” Blaize slapped me hard, cutting the raw skin on my cheek.

My tears ran with the blood causing them to turn red.

“Let. Her. Go.” Kay yelled.

“Don't you ever say anything else? Really? I mean you always say that and I always say 'I don't want to'. Get some variety in your life.”

Kay jumped at him, moving me away in the process.

“Lillith. I missed you.” Dakota came up and hugged me.

I didn't hug back, too lost in sorrow.

I was starting to feel numb.

“Lillith?” He asked.

“He's dead... dead.” I pushed away from Dakota and ran.

Ran out of the now very trashed apartment.

I continued down the stairs and out into the night air, Dakota calling after me.

I ran to the park, where Risk and I had pulled over so long ago.

I sat on a swing and cried.

“Why hello.” I jumped startled and looked up to see Alex.

“I told you I'd be back.”

“Risk is dead.” I said not focusing on anything.

“Ah. The demon who took you from us.” He paused and put his hands on my shoulders.

“Let me ask you a question. Lilith? Do you want revenge on his killer?” I nodded picturing Blaize and turning angry.

Alex smirked.

“I could help you. Just say the word.”

I looked up at him not thinking clearly from my anger.

“Let's bring Blaize down.”

“Alright I'll help you, but you owe me. Deal?”

“Deal.”
